Becco

4.3

About this business

Inspired by his travels across Italy, Joe Bastianich opened Becco with his mom Lidia to much fanfare. The word Becco comes from the Italian verb beccare, meaning "to nibble." A great addition to Broadway's dining alternatives, the lovely restaurant is a popular pit stop for theater-goers. Sample their delectable prix-fixe pasta menu and the kitchen's redefinition of Italian flavors with an impressive wine list and seasonal cocktails.

Probably the BEST Restaurant in the Theater area - GREAT for a meal before or even after the show! You won't be sorry! Not a tourist trap!

Good food, plentiful portions, good prices ... What more do you need? How about a wide selection of Italian wines - red, white and rose - for only $29! Service was good even though it was very busy. Sit in the rear if you can as the front rooms are very noisy.

Loved this place!! Food was amazing, service impeccable, but the tables are WAY to close and too tiny. Every inch of the table was covered with dishes and glassware.. This will not deter me from returning, but please a bit more room!

We were seated immediately. Service was excellent. Food was superb. Swordfish was delicious, the burrata appetizer was served in a crust toast- excellent, stuffed squash flowers with cheese and veal also wonderful. Definitely recommend the dessert sampler - to die for!!!

One of my "go to" restaurants whenever I'm at the theater. Everything was fantastic, and our waiter, Ryan, made the experience perfect. The burratta on toasted Tuscan bread, veal Milanese and veal Osso Bucco were the stars of the meal.
