Inspired by his travels across Italy, Joe Bastianich opened Becco with his mom Lidia to much fanfare. The word Becco comes from the Italian verb beccare, meaning "to nibble." A great addition to Broadway's dining alternatives, the lovely restaurant is a popular pit stop for theater-goers. Sample their delectable prix-fixe pasta menu and the kitchen's redefinition of Italian flavors with an impressive wine list and seasonal cocktails.

I had the Honor of Meeting Lydia my all time favorite and she is a most lovely woman, it made me think and miss my Zia and Nonna who taught me how to cook from their homeland Italy..y Her staff was impeccable with their manners and service! The Food Was Delicious and we will go back many more times!! I bragged about it to all my friends on Facebook and they are going to go! I am a very picky eater especially Italian Food ( like to cook) and was raised with food food and thats just what we got....!!! Molto Grazie
The only complaint i have is when i ordered the special all u can eat 3 types of pasta, i only got 2 types as i thought that was it till it was almost time to go and i saw waiters serving 3 types of pasta to a table beside ours.i didnt get any replenishment either. When i made a comment to our waiter, he told me i should have said something to him but by that time we already finished dinner and was ready to leave. My suggestion to waiters, no matter how busy you are , check in with your Customers table to see if everything i... read more
Food was Excellent space was tight wait staff was attentive
Got there around 11:50 am - Becco's was opened but no seating till 12 noon -we waited but the bar & chatted with Some other ladies who were going to the theater! Time went by too fast & next thing we were seated by noon! No reservation! Food was excellent -we had Caesar Salad & the 3 pastas which were linguini with shaved porchetta, peas & mushrooms in alfredo type sauce; ravioli with artichokes & cheese in a butter & oil sauce and rigatoni with fresh tomatoes, basil in garlic & oil! My fav was the ravioli and my friend like... read more
We were visiting from Boston and our friends recommended it. The server was great at first, but forgot about us after we were served. We waited for our bill for 30 minutes without anyone coming to the table. It is funny because we were sat on a patio area, we were the only couple there at the time. I truly mean literally a staff member would walk out there through the tiny door, look and walk away. It was so distracting. The food was okay, my BF got the three pasta house special and I a crusted halibut. Both were okay, the h... read more
Great Italian restaurant; I'm definitely coming back. Love it
My husband and Ionesco our three course meal. I had the chicken with risotto and he had the lamb. DELICIOUS! The appetizers, salads, and desert was very tasty. Will definitely come again. Make sure you make reservations.
Everything about this restaurant is always great. Made reservations for after a matinee. Waiters very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great wine deal with a ton of wines for $29/bottle. Pasta special is fantastic. Food always great. We always come here when we go to the theatre.
Usually need reservations, but must have hit it at the right time...they took a party of 2 right in. Very good servers...attentive, professional. Brought a basket of bread, hummus w/ olive oil, plate of olives with red pepper flakes. After entree ordered, they brought fresh made Caesar Salad served from platter. I ordered chicken parm special...which is my go to at every Italian restaurant. It was served alone with no side...large cutlet. It was ok...I prefer my local pizza joint's chicken parm. Ate half...didn't take home d... read more
