Inspired by his travels across Italy, Joe Bastianich opened Becco with his mom Lidia to much fanfare. The word Becco comes from the Italian verb beccare, meaning "to nibble." Now that was what I call a veal parm, with the bone sticking out.
Cant be beat for affordable New York City dining.

I have eaten at Becco several times and food was always delicious! Just had dinner there 4/29, very disappointed Slow service, waited too long for food and when it was served it was not hot. I complained twice, which I never do. Sorry won't be going back any time soon!
Pasta and wine were excellent staff friendly and attentive
Pasta was amazing! Lamb not so much. Bathroom smelled if urine enough to make your nose hair burn up.
What a wonderful experience after seeing a wonderful play! The staff were so accommodating and friendly and the food was Perfecto!!
Great food great wine and great service. We eat there everytime we are in NYC. As an owner of an italian restaurant for 17 years we think its the best fppd and vLue in Manhattan.
The food is great. Enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff was friendly, but not particularly efficient; drink orders were incorrect and one person received a wine glass that was cracked, twice.
