I think Bay Pines is one of the best in the country. At least they answer the phones and will direct you to where you need to be wish I could get my eye appointment there .I would drive the 11 hours just to get it so I could get new glasses . Greenville, SC clinic says they can't see anyone for three months hell if I could wait why would I need an appointment now
You all prescribe whatever and sent wrong prescriptions it doesent matter to You all. You create the biggest group of drug addicts in the country. Thanks. I go to the region al office for a coe and they tell me they arnt gonna help me. What is wrong with you people?
My 86 year old brother-in-law said 'I wouldn't be alive today if it were not for the treatment I received at Bay Pines'. I have transported Jimmy from Fort Myers to Bay Pines and have been amazed at how everyone knows him and greets him by his first name. He is a purple heart recipient from the Korean War and the VA has taken excellent care of him. I am a 73 year old Vietnam Veteran and may someday move to Fort Myers from my home in Alaska, knowing I would receive the best medical treatment at Bay Pines. Donald.
Wouldn't enroll me in the system because I was category 8g.
My husband is in Florida and I’m in Wisconsin. He receives cancer treatment at the VA Hospital in Madison, WI. He started coughing and ran a low fever on Monday. Last night my daughter brought him to the Bay Pines ER. His treatment was thorough and professional.....and fast considering the high rate of illness currently sweeping the country. After a chest X-ray and 8 vials of blood the diagnosis was FLU. We are thankful he has access to this valuable medical facility as well as his Wisconsin VA doctors and hospital.
The Dermatologist Dept at Bay Pines ROCKS. I will be there 2/2/18 for Surgery. I know they will get me well again, so I can get on with my life. All the staff is friendly, and professional...again, Thanks so much...see you next Friday
I have been a patient at Bay Pines since 1997. I have had 5 major procedures done at this Hospital and have had no problems with any of them. I have had no problems with any of the service...I take that back, I did have a problem with a Primary Care DR and I fired him. They sent me to a different primary care within a week and I have been absolutely 100% satisfied. I have had Mental Health Treatment, including PTSD and they are by better than the other VA Hospitals I have been to in that category as well. *********
How are you taking care of our Veterans when you can't even give them hot water or heat during the coldest week so far this year. This is disgraceful!!! What exactly do you need to get this fixed?
I was on Bay Pines today and noticed that OUR VETS have no heat or hot water in Bldg. 102 at C. W. Bill Young Medical Center. (For FOUR months!!) WHERE IS THEIR WATER AND HEAT???
