Bay Pines Hospital and the Manatee VA clinic are excellent. Though sometimes I wish my doctor wouldn't remind me that I am overweight so much.
Veterans receiving your due benefits are somewhat of a challenge. I'm getting the run around. Need assistance or advice. Unable to return to previous employment due to health issues. An attorney locally would be helpful.
Had my blood work done, was to have a doctor appointment the next week, had to cancel due to home emergency. The next possible appointment, a month and a half later. Unable to squeeze me in, even as a last day patient sooner. After 75, no more PSA or colostomy evaluations. You are just on a death wish? My next appointment, 8:30 a.m. must drive 20+ miles. Thanks for my 22 years of service. Oh yeah.

I received an email asking that I let them know if I can not make an appointment. Here is a BIG CLUE to VA administrators. HIRE PEOPLE TO ANSWER YOUR DAMNED PHONES. I was on hold for 3 hours. TOTAL BULL SHIT
Have been treated with respect and concern regarding any issue with my health. Folks at Port Charlotte Clinic are great. I just hate the drive to Ft. Myers for other treatment.
