I gotta day the care was much better in The Bronx Va... I’m here 2 years now, I had my rheumatologist inform me of my high blood sugar levels instead of my primary care whom I had visited a month before.. I am now classified a diabetic and have not been referred to Special shoes etc , in The Bronx this was a no brainer, I was informed of everything available to me forget the fact that I have to travel 2 hours to get there from North Fort Myers

The latest edition of the Bay Magazine has a broken link when you try to save it to a computer. It returns a 404 error. Bad quality control for whoever set this up before including it in an email.
Every single appointment I have had to see a medical provider at the Bay Pines in the last 2 months has been cancelled and I am unable to get another appointment and when I do that one is also cancelled. It appears that the management at Bay Pines is doing a very poor job at taking care of the Veterans.
I welcome the new leadership and wish him the best. Truth and fair judgement are some of what us vets need from one of our own. Waiting years for something to be added to agent Orange etc. An army sargent in1945 died of a bacteria that VA said 225000 Vietnam vet have in blood. Has not been recognized yet. Cheaper for us to die off. Plenty of money for other things and people. But not us vets. Sad. Very sad.🇺🇸😥 please heal, comport and stergenth us. Thank you

At pines had threatened my family and will not help when asked for. A deranged person entered campus last year with a shotgun and I notified by boss and they laughed at me. The person was arrested outside the front gate.
