RecommendedMy first time there. Met with Dr Dolan Hem/Onc. Outstanding facility. First Class!
Mental health, diabetes, general practice for any veteran even those not service connected, just remember you have to attend all your appointments or reschedule (use common sense)
When they change your doctor. They don’t change everything in the computer. Now a year later a new doctor. Didn’t write the prescription for the veteran/friend he goes on vacation. It takes 10 days to get the medication/heart medication.The old Dr. can’t help because it’s not his patient. Try to get somebody else to help you. As a caretaker I was on the phone for three hours. The Doctors, nurses and every employee at the Bay Pines are excellent in everyway! They are hardworking, compassionate, individuals who always go above and beyond their duties! I also would like to give two thumbs up to the volunteers! Without them, Bay Pines would have to shut their doors! They are invaluable!
Their 5th veteran suicide has occurred at this facility. That says enough about their service 👎
It has been over 2 years since being seen in a proper manner due to a Epileptic Seizure Disorder. The Doctors say i cannot come into the building due to lighting and seizures... Yet, The doctors state they cannot see me except inside the building to evaluate my issue and request proper care elsewhere... So, Come in a place that causes medical emergency's so i can be sent someplace else. I did that and ended waking up in handcuffs, injured and thrown out of the ER after being denied care.
