I volunteer on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 7 to 12 at the entrance to the main hospital, building 100. For every 200 people I help and speak with every week, I may hear of a single complaint. The complaints I hear about concern the bureaucratic red tape that is still required for services; I never hear complaints about the people providing services to veterans. Bay Pines is a premiere VA facility and if you are a veteran, I highly recommend their medical services!
Dear facebook followers, I have been trying to reach out and get help with my disability claim. Having a hard time to maintain myself in trying to do it all by myself. If anybody having information on where to go in Bradenton, Florida please help me. I'm unable to work anymore. PTSD.
First experience has been very good. Fast clinical results and good physical. Very detailed. Much more detailed than with my primary care Dr. up north. First visit to primary care Dr at Bay Pines scheduled for November. No complaints thus far.
Bay Pines has to be one of the best rated VA facilities in the USA, if not the very best! Like most things, everything is not perfect, however, when I have made the aware I was able to obtain what I expected. Personnel are great, friendly, and respectful!
Visiting Florida from Ohio and my hearing aid failed. Went to Bay Pines and was immediately seen by a audio tech that replaced the non functioning hearing aid. Very friendly and efficient VA Medical Center.
I went to the Lee County VA Ambulatory Care Unit since I was dealing with Severe back pain and Neuropathy in both legs. They signed me in immediately. The doctors at the unit took their time and explained to me the precise nature of my problem and what would be the appropriate course of action Post visit with Neuro Surgeon. Then, they were concern due to family history if I had recent Detection test for Colon and Prostate. When I told them no they immediately ran the necessary lab test. Bay Pines Lets see here.... 1 Scheduling is a nitemare 2 Parking is Horrific 3 They go thru Doctors like Toiletries. 4 A Lot of employees feel entitled due to sex or color 5 They have signs that say No WEAPONS " hey is that an open invitation for someone to due harm " I thought the VA in general was going to get better I have seen "ZERO" improvements and I have gone the for over ten years. WAKE UP AMERICA please help the V.A.
