Avoid at all costs. The employees are nasty the administration is a joke and in order to get anything done you have to either spend an entire day here or flip out like a crazy person, and the staff is the reason.
I've had no problems with VA care. 2 surg and one more soon. All done professional and prompt.
Saved my husband's life. Thank you baby pines doctors and nurses.
I'm so thankful to have Bay Pines in my community. I won't move solely because of them! The quality of healthcare, the quality of the personnel, the quality of the facility itself, have no equal as far as I'm concerned. I received medical treatment in the civilian community for many years, but am happier here than anywhere there. Thanks Bay Pines for always striving to be the best!!

Never Expect to be seen on your appointment time ( always late on there part )
I want to share my experience. We took my 20 month old to the Bay Pines ER while we were on vacation because he was having an allergic reaction. The doctors checked his vitals and sent us to a different ER because they couldn't treat him there. Now i am getting a bill for the services offered. i have been trying to communicate with someone that can get me an itemized bill in order to submit this to my insurance company and no one can get me the information i need. i call the 800 #'s for VA and no one can give me information ... read more
VA just cancelled my appointment for next Friday. I have had this appointment on the books for at least 3 months. I just went in and took the labs for it today. The nearest next appointment is December 22!!! And you wonder why I gave up on the VA!!!?
