I am very discouraged with the healthcare I'm receiving now. My PcP retired last year and since then i have received very poor care. My doctor did not even know my name when i saw her. I requested my scripts be renewed, (just vitamins), she did not do it. I requested physical therapy, she did not do it. I requested a dermatology appointment, she did not do it. She said she would order everything i requested. she did not do it. I asked for Tylenol and Ibuprophen. She refused the ibuprophen, but ordered Tylenol. That's it. I a... read more
I am in the Cape Coral area and have a max disability for my feet. It has taken month's to get an appointment with a podiatrist even after calling and them telling me that I would be contacted my veterans choice. Sorry but, the Veterans Choice program is a joke. Why they keep the contract with the amazes me. Someone must know someone because it has been broken from day 1 and never fixed!
Things didn't run as smooth as they trying to lead people to believe and I'm going to LET my side be known
I had a double bypass 10 years ago that was done at the VA and I've several issues I've been there for, over the years. The regular appt.s an pact checkups are outstanding. I've been to many hospitals visiting friends and nothing compares to the VA system. It's great and getting better all the time. Thank you for all you do.

This place tops the list of hospitals public and private! I have never had better service.
Why are you not evacuating the hospital
I received the best care at Bay Pines VA. I have post service connections with PTSD, knees, and hearing, but I do not expect disability for those things that might have might have begun in military but manifested outside. I do thing some disability be accorded for serving, but willing to yield on more as I enjoyed my time in service.
