The outpatient surgical staff should be commended for the exceptional service they give to each veteran. From the time you check-in to the time you leave, the care is the best I've consistently seen within the VA! This was my fourth surgery at the Bay Pines facility and the service was excellent! I cannot believe we cannot get a answer about my husband's foot!!! One doctor says it needs attention could possibly be crushed, can't get anyone from Dr. Murphy's off ice to call with any information, been fighting to have his ankle taken care of for 2 years. I have been trying to get answers since the bone scan last Wednesday, same story everyday!!! If they don't want to attend to it send him to outside care before he ends up losing his foot!!! He is diabetic.
I went to visit a dear friend on 5B. Everyone was friendly and attentive to my friend. The rooms were spotless as always. The care the veterans get at Bay Pines is continually top notch.
