Candle Day. The day I look forward to all year, and because of COVID-19 I shopped online this year for the first time. Several days after placing my order, I was emailed about candles that I order that were "out of stock." Well, I made my order at 6 AM and there were no candles out if stock on the website when ordered and when I asked for a replacement candle in another scent, I was basically told tough luck, here's a 20% coupon instead. I used to be a tried and true customer to B&BW, however, as of recently they have really missed the mark. I believe the pandemic has really affected the manner in which they are fulfilling orders, but they also switched shipping services during their biggest sale times of the season. This has proven to be disastrous. I placed two large orders one on 11/16/2020 and another on 11/26/2020. Neither of which have to date been received. I placed an order today @ 3pm and decided right after I did not want to purchase so I went on live chat right away to cancel my order. Got an email stating my order was received. The rep said she was able to cancel order but I kept waiting for my cancellation email. So I went on live chat again and was told by a different rep that I was not able to cancel on live chat and that I had to call. So I called but did not want to be on hold so I opted for a call back. You guys need to stop shipping with lasership. It’s an awful company . I never got my packages it was delivered to the wrong door and I’m getting little to no help on either end ( from your company and from them ) I would opt to shop at lush guys ! Least you know you will get your products even if they’re a tad bit pricy I would pay more for reliable service and good customer service .

My lesson for today, 10/30/20 is NOT to bother shopping online at B&BW. I placed an order on 10/25/20. I was told on 10/30/20 that some of my order was canceled. 5 days after my order. I went back on the B&BW website to find the product was still for sale and available. I called customer service and she said it's still for sale but not through my warehouse for my area for shipping. I waited 2-3 weeks for my soaps to arrive after receiving a "your order has shipped notification". I then contacted customer service because I had not received the package. They confirmed that the order never actually shipped out (then why did I get a notifcation??). At this point, they told me that one of the items in my order was no longer available so I they gave me a partial credit for this order. Which is fine, I did not need all four soaps. Bad customer service from ******* in Online chatting; ******** supervisor in a hurry didnt seem to care. My items came damaged and requested replace and ******* told me, " Strange how this seems to happen often with your orders."Ive gotten replacement items before yes but in reality we dont have control of shipping, carriers dont care. They throw ur packages. I chat to make things right. Bath & body works should coach their customer service, customers are their #1 priority.

I totally see why Bath & Body only has a 1-star rating. Horrible customer service. Their online order process it terrible. I placed a 3-item gift order and immediately received an email confirmation AND item out of stock email which now means that the gift is incomplete. I immediately called customer service to complete my original gift purchase but her computer was frozen so I was placed on eternal hold. In this time, my order was no longer able to be fixed and she told me to call back. I reordered online with new products ... read more

This customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. They cancel items with out asking to switch items and the online chat is useless. I then spent an hour plus on the customer service line to sort it out. Now I find out im charged for 3 orders instead of 2 and the lady who answered now was rude and said well you can go to your nearest store to return. I am 7 months pregnant and this is for my baby shower so you expect me to lug 36 soaps into your store in the free time I dont have. This is an absolute joke. So I will ... read more
