Loyal customer for over 30 years banking with ********************** now looking to a different bank 1. Overpriced checks ( costs 58 cents ) - complete rip off 2. Local branches dont pick up phone and work limited hours , but most branches closed in my area 3. **************** hard to get a hold via 800 number

I have an *** with ****** Edge. Well, I started the transfer of the account on 3/6/2022, over a dozen phone calls, and not 3/25, I have gotten nowhere.I filled out the transfer paperwork and talked to advisers about 12 hours a week. Each time a new adviser says we just received the paperwork for the first time and give us a week. They are great at taking your money, but they do not want to give your money back or transfer it when it is your money. I had an issue today with BOA and I received the same terrible customer service that I received in 2014 when I had an issue. In 2014, I had a house fire and lost all of my checks. I went to my local branch and explained and they still made me pay for new checks. When the checks were mailed out, they were lost in the mail and I never received them. Terrible! 3 unauthorized withdrawals were done. It has been almost a year and has not been resolved. They initially denied claim and only gave me credit for 1 unauthorized withdrawal. Then they re-opened claim per my request. I had to call more than 3 times to get claim re-opened. First couple of times BOA reps did not document request to re-open claim. This is an employee training issue. 3 large withdrawals of same amount is extremely suspicious. They need to verify with customer.

They offer a reward credit card and say you can use immediately when you scan a code and you use it and when you ask for the rewards they no want to give what they offer its a scam just to get you with high interest try to explain and show the promotion and say you have wait for 25 days to used very tricky they lie and have the worst customer service when you ask for help investigate this bank because they do the same that ***** Fargo

Spent one hour and forty two minutes on the phone which was mostly on hold. I had a issue and wanted questions. Never got the information that I needed.

Don't open an account with Bank of America. Are you trying to open an online account? Well this is mot the bank to do business with.. I opened an account online and completed the verification process and went as far as depositing $650 in the account. They even sent out my bank card. Ok. Well this bank took it upon themselves to close my account and had the nerve to say they sent my money out to the address on file. After 2 weeks of waiting for my money. BEWARE: Absolute worst bank! Very misleading funds availability policy, be careful depositing anything but cash! The teller will hand you a paper clearly stating when the funds will be available and hours later you will receive an email, delaying availability by at least a week or more. Once this happens, its too late, you cant get the check back to go cash it elsewhere, you are basically screwed!!! This has happened to me now, on more than one occasion, with checks from local banks, funds available and no history of bounced... read more

Please be advised they will not report to the credit agencies as an account being "paid as agreed" but will further ruin your life by reporting to them it is "settled, paid for less than the full balance". They are not compassionate when negotiating and I wouldn't recommend any company that treats valid, long time customers who have been loyal prior to a Covid interruption of their income. Be aware you will be treated as a dog on the street.
