Why is 0(zero) stars not an option ?Main problem : because of their "technical issues", my credit score dropped about 100 pts , from 820. I cashed in treasury bonds and deposited the receipts into a checking account at the bank. The receipt said all of the funds were available immediately. I ordered new bonds afterwards with those proceeds. A couple of hours later, Bank of America put a hold on those funds. I had to quickly move money to cover the new purchase. No one at the bank warned me that a hold was possible; I have a receipt saying all the funds were immediately available. I have a new mortgage w BofA that I closed in late February, 2022. My first full payment was due April 1st. I set up my online account and signed up for monthly autopayment. On April 1st I checked my bank and saw that BofA took two payment from my account. I called and complained. I was told that the problem would be fixed. We agreed that the extra payment would go towards ***** payment and my bank would not be drawn on until June. On May 1st they did it again! There was withdrawal from my checking account in amount ************************************************************** ****** Rt 17 south They did not solve it Reverse t4ransaction and forceply closed my account In spite I filed police complaint which they as me to do
Please do not give a single ***** to these thieves. I've been doing business with them for 8 years and it's been literal h*** I should not have constant issues obtaining MY money. Also 35$ overdraft fee?! There's been times where I had no work because of bad weather and i could barely afford to eat, then the bank decides to fee me 35$ for being 50 cents negative. This bank has put me in literal tears and fear of not being able to take care of myself. Never use this bank.
I have used BOA for over 40 years. Currently, as many know, there are multiple Fraudulent websites and markers prowling on the internet. If per chance, you click one by mistake, as it Pops Up, while reading or viewing an article and since computers are so automated (they don't seem to have a chip shortage) , a popup displays their product and there are hidden links behind the site and not cookies that put you directly into checkout and the computer fills in your credit card number - when you try to cancel it, you get frozen ... read more

My review is in regards to fees on the account. I spoke with a representative as I was moving my finances to a new institution and they assured me that as long as I had at least $1500 in the account I would not see any maintenance fees. This was a misleading and incomplete statement. I received a $12 maintenance the following month due to not meeting the minimum DAILY balance of $1500. That is there was one day where I fell below $1500 and thus was charged the fee. After the fee, my account dipped down to $1488 ($1500-$12). ... read more

Bank of America is the WORST! Their customer service is HORRIBLE! They signed me up for 2 credit cards, which I didn't apply for. I am having a hard time getting the cards cancelled and now they are charging me annual fees. They are saying this is fraud,but why would anyone sign up for a credit card in my name and get everything sent to my house? It just doesn't make sense! I will NEVER have a credit card with this company!

I've been a customer with ********************** for ** years. I got a mortgage with them and have 2 credit cards.I want to complaint about the claims department hat's awful and managers can't care less about providing a good service and helping customers.
