Bank of America that is located in the Bronx ** on ****************. I set an appointment at 10:30 am on March 30th to get some papers to be notarized. I arrived and the Notary was not there. Did not have the decency to call to cancel the appointment. I was told one of customers service staff they will call me. The next day I received the call and I left to the bank. I waited. BOA is the absolute worse bank in the world! Trying to refinance a mortgage they already hold. Going on 6 months and still no closings date!!!! They just keep asking for the same information numerous times and have now proceeded to do a 2nd hard credit check !!! All they do is apologize but nothing changes!!! Waste of time and energy. Sorry they hold my current mortgage!!!!
I have sent three emails to the security site online for Bank of America because every time I log on I get the" update your personal information", I have tried to do just that by clicking on the "No Updates Needed-continue, but then it won't let you continue unless you expose your social security number which I am not going to do until I know this is a legitimate pop up from Bank of America and not a scam. This company is a complete joke. The managers are VERY unprofessional and act like middle school kids and bullies. Its a sink or swim job, mentally draining, managers flirt with you after 1-2 weeks of being employed then will retaliate when you tell. HR doesnt take complaints serious. I wouldnt recommend working here
I had them over 5 years and had to close the account. I had covid for about 1.5 months and account went into negative and kept incurring overdraft fees. Had over $600 in fees before it was even stopped. 1 or 2 overdraft fees fine but how could they let 20 straight fees go through. All they did was charge $35 to decline transactions. Most transactions were under $10 also. I called them and they could only waive 3 transactions.
I have been a loyal Platinum Prefer Client BOA customer for years but I'm done.I would not recommend any of their lines of business! Look elsewhere! This company is horrible.Bank Of America is a nightmare to deal with! They are so difficult to get a hold of and customer service does not provide any customer service. Ive been with Bank of America for over three years. Once covid hit, it seems like they have been aggressive in their overdraft fees. My available balance never drops below zero. I check both my app and the desktop version. Yet they continue to auto deduct for alleged overdraft fees of $35 each. Explained the error in their available balance view and had the fee reversed as a one time courtesy. They advised me to remove overdraft protection so that any future charges would be declined if I didnt have enough to cover it. All w... read more
