Fraudulent account was opened in my disabled son's name. But, the account cannot be closed! Previously. went to the local branch with ***** of ******** for my senile mother where I waited for hours and multiple calls to have them honor legal ***** of ********. They would only do so After they met with my 89 year old senile mother!

I am a victim of identity theft. I woke up to 5 Emails from Bank of America processing, approving an account and confirmation of online ID created. When I called the number on the email to report it I couldnt get through because you need the bank info. I spent 3.5 plus hours on the phone. Police need to know if the account was created online or in person. Bank of America wouldnt tell me. Unemployment gave me a B of American Debit Card which I stop using betw July/Aug 21. I went to check the email I set up for that account and unemployment because its last day for taxes. I notice unemployment after more than 9 month had put $2012 into my account but that someone unknown to myself went into my acct and made a transfer to a ****** Bank. Customer for 10+years. Fell into hardship, and they charge monthly fees just to keep an account open. If Im already broke why take more of my money. I need to find another bank asap.
They change my name fraudulently My card says my legal name and the billing says another. I have call, message them, the only they have to look is the application and thats it. They dont how to resolve customers issues . Now, I have to take time off from my job to resolve this issue. Instead of them doing their own research.

They have held a check deposit that has been made multiple times now for over the hold time that has left my account and bills in jeopardy. I received an email after a confirmation of my deposit stating they had placed a hold on my funds and that it would be available 7 business days later at 9am. Well after not receiving my deposit I called and now they said its now on a extended hold. I never received an email letting me know of the now extended hold! They raised my mortgage payments over 1k monthly because of delinquent payments on taxes their mortgage officer miscalculated. I paid the outstanding balance and requested to be responsible for paying the city directly and after countless calls being put on hold and being redirected to department after department they wont do anything for me or even adjust escrow to an appropriate amount because the 1k hike is over double what is necessary and crippling my financials. Whatever you do dont get a mortgage through BoA.
