Bank of America refused to release funds sent via check from PNC Bank in my account to my account at Bank Of America account. My daughter and I had a joint account and I placed funds in the account to pay her college tuition. I had funds in Bank America that exceeded the check amount. Bank America did not check my status of accounts for myself and wife which far exceeded the check amount. They then froze the funds for 10 days. I have a *** with Merrill Edge , I have been trying to close my account and withdraw my money from the for 6 months now. I am 60 years old so this should be easy. They say they cannot give me my money because I need to show proof that I do not owe back child support lol. Do not open Any accounts with bank of America. Your personal information is NOT safe!!!Some one got a hold of my information, either internal or a data breech and tried to open 6 bank of America credit cards. They could care less and have been very rude and not helpful at all.

Escrow Refund desperately needed to confirm binder and purchase ******* home insurance. Inquiry for Escrow refund escalated to three different supervisors, two confirming a refund 20 business days from the final payment (May 5, 2022) mortgage note: late fees added after 15 days, not 15 business days. Third supervisor changed the rules to 20 days from the time THEY process the final payment (May 16th) PLUS an additional 7 to 10 days to mail out the check. What? Six weeks! Bank of America just allowed a payment to State farm insurance leave my bank account. My account was short by over ****** of having enough money to pay that ****. Therefore I am now set up by bank of America to receive overdraft fees of ***** dollars for every item that comes in to my account between now and the 3rd of June when my disability check is deposited. The system should not be taking money out of my account if there isn't enough money to cover the ****.

HORRIBLE service!!! I called with a question on my credit card (that I have had for 25years), and it was so frustrating, I ended up closing my account over a $25 fee. My credit score is 850 and last month I paid more than the total balance on the card, but they were not willing to keep a long-time customer. Do NOT assume they value your business, because they clearly do not. ****** learned - I will take my excellent credit and business elsewhere!!

These guys are so unfair. They put a hold on 2 of my hard-earned pay checks. I worked hard for it but now I can even pay my rent. I would need to pay late fees because of this delay caused by this bank. I called them and all they said is that they cant do anything about it. I cant even take my check back. I shouldve just encashed my check somewhere. They are so frustrating!!!
