I just left b of a in ************ ** on ********. Met with an agent Archin. I have 2 accts ther plus a large Merrill Lynch acct. All she wanted was to get me out the door. She wasn't busy, she just wanted to paint her nails ( which they needed) she did rush me thur my needs.but i thought she was very rude !!!!!

My identity was used to open a fraudulent credit card and checking account with Bank of America. I live in ******** and the card was used in ********** during the covid shutdown. I received information of this via mail from a law firm wanting to collect a debt of close to $12,000 almost 2 years later. The fraud department has done nothing to help in the matter after they told me that they were investigating it. I called customer service and they do not work with their customers. I called to tell them that I got a letter for an account that I didn't open. They wanted me to give them all of my personal information before they would give me any of the account information. **************** gave me a hard time to close the account , they seemed like they did not want to help.

The customer support is horrendous. 5 days in a row I waited on hold for 3+ hours for assistance with my accounts and never got anyone on the phone. The internet is littered with similar complaints. It makes absolutely no sense to invest with a company that you cannot speak with about your own money. 3 hour hold times is unacceptable no matter the circustance. I will be closing my accounts if I'm ever able to speak to a respresentative.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I have had a Bank of America credit card for over a decade and never had a problem. Last August there was a fraudulent $500 (rounded) charge made to Target on my card. I called the fraud number 4 times, and each time I received a letter that my claim was denied. The reason - the transaction was consistent with other transactions on my card. I can tell you that I rarely shop at Target. Have I? Yes! Did I ever spend anything close to that amount of money? No! Keeps taking overdraft fees even when the transactions arent emailing me stating they will take money! We are barely making it by then the **** wants to charge $80 in fees! Even when we give the reason why we didnt have any money they will not refund it back! They charge overdraft fees immediately and maintenance fees!!! In the month of February they charged themselves $100 in fees!!! Dont **** with bank of America I will gladly go to *********** at least they dont charge fees to the working poor

There arent enough characters for the review I would like to leave. First of all can you say highway robbery????? My account overdrawn for $26 and a deposit was made the next day (no overdraft fees). Prior to that I had incurred overdraft fees simply because a company didnt use my updated card info to withdraw payment. Spoke to the entity in which they indicated they would reverse charges however I was assessed 8 ($35) overdraft fees due to this . I will NEVER use BoA again for credit card purchases. I bought furniture from an online company, and by the time it was time for the furniture to be delivered, it was issue after issue of them scheduling appointments only to no-show and reschedule. They always asked for a confirmation that the delivery time was OK before arriving. I told the company that I wouldn't be around, but they showed up anyway. I wasn't home. Left one star only because negative stars are not an option. I held a joint account with my 93-year old mother, who has dementia. Bank of America decided, arbitrarily, and against our wishes, that there were fraudulent charges on her credit card, and closed it down, which prevented us from even being able to review the charges to see what they were (I was later able to verify that they were legitimate through other means).
