Worst bank ever. I'll be glad when I can find another local bank to use. They steal your money and charge you false overdraft fees. Beware!

I got double charged by **** for $651 which along with several other charges put me at -$556. With your overdraft fees you charge people without warning and deoending on how the charges go through I could be charged anywhere from min$120 to $630 in overdraft fees. I called att and they reversed it on their end immediately but when I called you you couldn't do anything. Leaving me negative **** with a chance of overdraft fees. My father passed away in September of 2021. After jumping through many hoops involving court documents, forms, more forms, death certificates, additional forms, going through their legal department to get authorization, I am no farther today than I was when this all started. As a court ordered independent executor of my dads estate..(proven to Merrill Lynch), I have spent hours on the phone, getting the run around on the phone with different people and excuses of why they dont seem to be able to do their job. The worst boa just temporarily credited my account that I opted out of overdraft with! And now is about to charge me for it !They are now mentioning after Nov 2 that they credited me but didnt send out the notice until the 12 ! I didnt really get to go into detail but I need to find out how to handle this without being charged for something I didnt approve my own bank to do with my money.

Very disappointed I opened account then they closed it no reason I had my account open for a month now I have to open in person and there's no bank of America in my state so closed account

I work at a nonprofit serving brain injury survivors, and have had a terrible experience with Bank of America. One our members had her card stolen, and someone fraudulently spent about $500. This is a pretty large amount for anyone, but especially for someone on a fixed income. She called right away to get it resolved, but her fraud claim was denied. She then filed a police report, and the police helped her secure footage of the man who had stolen her card using it at several of the places where fraudulent charges were made.... read more

After waiting 1 on hold hour to talk. They dont know how to solve the issue. Go to the Branch and manager tell me to call customer service. Im very disappointed and the only reason I have this account because my Mothers joint account.

BOA sent us a fraud alert but when we told them it was not an authorized transaction, they paid it anyway and told us there was nothing they could do about it because it was Paypal. I spent hours on the phone with Paypal to discover it was a clerical error on their part. They eventually returned the $1,850 to our account after a month. BOA claims department did nothing and would not advance us a temporary credit. We have been customers for over 20 years but are now shopping for a new bank. HORRIBLE customer service.

Bank of America is discriminatory and their HR department is corrupt. I have applied for numerous jobs in which I am well qualified for, to which they have been requesting my social and racial background for the *** record department? Its ludicrous that a business would request such records and then state that it wont be used to determine hiring! Thats personal information that should not be needed during a hiring process.
