I just went on my Bank of America online account to make a transfer, only to find out my account has been frozen. For no apparent reason, no fraud alerts. I have no text alert, no email communication about the situation, and when I call the office that I need to speak to is closed in the evenings. I am a preferred Platinum client, have been with B of A for a very very long time, but this is egregious. Two issues I am currently dealing with regarding Fraud and Scams - 1) Bank of America allowed a transaction of $6,990.00 to be transferred from my account to another "trusted" Bank if America customer. Initial transaction on 11/03/2021 for $ ******** and again on 11/30/21 for $2,496.00.The payments were to reserve a seasonal home rental. I have two active police investigations. On 12/3/2021 I spoke with a ************ at this specific location to transfer a 529 Plan from another to BoA. The ************ stated I need to establish a Next Gen 529 Plan with Merrill Lynch and then complete a Transfer Form. After creating the Next Gen 529 as instructed and I completed the form (with the help of the ************) and Merrill Lynch rep over the phone. I have been banking with B of A since **** when I signed up as a college frosh. Due to the horrible experiences we have had for the past 3 years, our family has pulled most all of our B of A accounts (9 and counting) to the much friendlier First Republic - I highly recommend them. B of A approved a PPP loan for my business during the pandemic but linked the funds to a closed B of A account so they lost the path to the account. Bank of America has to be the WORST bank in the world! I paid many thousands of dollars to pay off my 3 credit cards with them; and they wouldnt even back me up on a $99 computer scam! They credited me, then retracted it; then credited me AGAIN and retracted it AGAIN!!! The customer service is deplorable and they gave me the run around for months until I was SICK about it! UNBELIEVABLE!!!
ATTENTION BOA CUSTOMERS::: THIS COMPANY IS FRAUD AND STEALS YOUR MONEY!!! YOU PEOPLE ARE A JOKE!!! I will be finding a new bank as soon as you make my 2020 tax refund available. I was told that funds would be available tomorrow then a few hours later your deciding that you are going to hold the funds until and 1/6 placing a hold on a check I've been waiting for months for is simply wrong just because you people don't know how to read a check... i REALLY WISH YOU COULD GIVE ZERO STARS FOR A REVIEW!!
In early October our credit card charged for unauthorized payments 4 times. October 1 two payments by $2.317.60 and $2.190.98 no alert from BofA. October 4 two payments by $2.145.50 and $2.541.72 still no alerts from BofA ( could be verified from our message centre). All our claims denied. October 16 - my husband received an alert from BofA about suspicious activity on his debit card account. He called and said that it is not his transitions. It was still possessing. They've been holding my unemployment money for 2 months.my card was stolen 4 months ago so they suggested I get it from western union. I went and western union wouldn't give me but only 500 of 2100 dollars. I spent all day and went to 5 western unions. I called and they said it takes 45 days to get my money back from western union and its been 2 months and they still won't give me my money. Never bank with bank of america

The telephone service is terrible. Three reps including a supervisor (pts3j, the id# she gave me) do not know that BA offers chip and pin cards. Two including ***** hung up on me. The one from ********** threatened me of some notes on my account. These people are not doing their jobs.
