A charge was fraudulently made on my credit account for over $1,000 at the Apple store far from me. I filed a police report, sent in an affidavit, and have provided all the information but the claim was still denied by Bank of America three times. I am very frustrated because i don't know what else to do and I do not want to pay for something I did not order.

March 26, 2021 was scammed out of $831 on my account through ******by a person posing as an Amazon customer service person. I knew something was wrong so I called the bank fraud department immediately. The transaction processed for two days. I called the bank & they said it would take 45 to 90 days to investigate. Finally the bank sent a very impersonal short letter not even signed that said no help. I'm a Senior handicapped woman that depends on SSI & I depend on this money to exist. If I could give 0 stars I would. My grandmother completed end of life docs. Durable POA and trust. She has dementia and went to bank and provided them with both she only needed to leave POA. Because she did this they refuse to honor POA stating trust supersedes durable POA therefore must get letter of incapacitation. The purpose of the POA was to help her while she is living. Bank of America gave a scammer 1700 dollars and charged it to my debit card. This card can only pay what I have in it. They gave someone this money I did not have in that account then charged it to me. Their solution was, oh well, go tell the police. The bank scammed me like the scammers wanted to do. Caution, they will give money away and charge it to your account. WARNING

Bank Of America screwed me out of $3,235.23. I made a reservation for a 9 day stay That was canceled before our dates and Bank of America said they could get my money back for a charge that was paid but services were never rendered and was assured I would be getting my money back. Then 7 months later they said sorry we are unable to assist you. The dispute fell outside our time frame to retrieve the funds. Deceptive Online Payment System - For the second time, I put in a certain amount for my mortgage payment utilizing BOA's online payment system and was deceived. The first time this occurred, I needed to pay for a past month's mortgage and a current mortgage amount. I applied for a home mortgage loan. I had very bad customer service from the start. The first representative was not helpful. Explained that one of the credit reports was not pulling. I applied for a credit card with Bank of America who I have been with since XXXX XX years and was denied . 3 months later I applied again denied . 3 months later I applied for a secured credit card where I put collateral for a certain dollar amount denied . Than I applied for a car loan denied with a 720 credit score but there reasoning was not enough credit history . Isn't that why secured credit cards exist ?
