I had my debit card information stolen and was purposefully, willfully, and wantonly given the runaround by Bank of America (B of A), when I called to suss it out. Branch address: XXXXX ******* **** Canoga Park, CA XXXXX Today, July 24, 2021. Bank closes at 1pm. Was inside bank at 12:20pm. Needed a wire transfer. Today, I called the Online remote deposit department to assist me with setting up the account for remote deposit by disconnecting the device from one account (under a different profile) and connect to a different account (same situation). The rep was rude, uneducated, and didn't know how to handle the problem, she referred me to visit my banker and set it up there. Leaving this as a review instead of a complaint because BBB has a policy with Bank of America of marking a complaint case as closed if Bank of America makes a frivolous promise to resolve a complaint even though they don't resolve complaints. Merrill Lynch locked me out of my account so that I'm unable to get my tax information. The biggest waste of time! Don't even try calling them, it will only frustrate you beyond belief. They definitely outsource all their calls to other countries, so no one cares about anything you are saying at all. Which is ironic for the bank of "America". To speak to a manager or supervisor for further help or explanation takes 24 hours at least. The first girl I spoke with just hung up when I asked for a manager. I guess that was her best solution.
Bank of America has screwed me out of my money after i did a charge back and returned the product.

Pretty terrible experience overall. I dont bank with BoA, but I do have an auto loan through them and the entire experience has been awful. They give 0 instructions on how to setup online payments except for a link. When you go to the website its just a bunch of marketing garbage and is simply confusing. Then once you finally figure out how to start setting up online payments, they make you wait an additional 3-5 business days to get a password in the mail for the account. Really?
