My every experience with Bank of America has been horrible. I'm dealing with debit card fraud and i've spent over 4 hours on the phone trying to solve it. And they can't solve it. I've spent at least 2 hours on hold. They have a horrible automated system and the way they structure their departments doesn't help anyone solve anything

They have been refusing to refund my mother's account since she died 10 months ago.They come up with one excuse after another ago put you on hold for one and a half hours everytime you call.They have repeatedly lied to me and have no intention of releasing my mother's accounts.Do your heirs a favor and put your money in another bank.
BofA does not appear to want elderly or disabled as new customers. I tried to open an account for my relative who i moved into NJ. Bank officer verbally says their policy is not to open an account for anyone using a POA (power of attorney) unless they have a prior relationship with them. They refuse to explain the denial in writing. I can only interpret this they only want young healthy people as customers. Elderly beware of BofA.
Good afternoon, I am a long-term BOFA customer. I've been with this bank for over 10 years and at this point I'm fed up! I am a teacher who gets paid once a month on the last working day of each month. My checking account has had direct deposit for the past 12 years from the same employer. If you want to get charged 4 35$ NSF's 4x a day, for not checking your account between 6pm-8am when your -6$ than bofa is the best bank for you! This is a bit wordy but I am livid as to what has happened. My account was closed after 8 years because it was "overdrawn for 120 days" which is untrue. I called in to let them know their was some kind of mistake, I was IMMEDIATELY directed to the collections department, before i even had a chance to explain why I was calling. As bad as any bank like ***********. I had an account with them for many years, and then all of a sudden they start charging ridiculous $25 monthly maintenance fees. They do not do ANYTHING except take your money! I have filed BBB complaints, they called me twice to get things fixed and NOTHING happens. This BofA lost the deposit that I created thru their website. My husband and I opened 2 business accounts at our local BIA branch in May. We both went in separately as we couldn't get in together that day, and was told by the employee that it was fine and I my husband could open the accounts and I could go back in and sign the paperwork afterwards. He opened the accounts, and I went in a few days later to the same employee, and signed all of the paperwork for both company accounts.
