from the first phone call for an appointment (I am new to area), the first visit, the early morning drop off, the reminder phone call, the call from the vet explaining what he did, the pick up when again I got to talk to the vet, the tech, and the wonderful staff-I was very impressed. ve been here many times now to get checkups, fecal tests, and fill out forms. Each time is a good experience, and my dog, Eevee loves it here! We go in and her tail wags like crazy!!! It's a completely different experience than my other dogs had at different vets. No tail between the legs or whimpering. Eevee remembers the staff here as the people who made her feel happy again. I see the only person happy with this place in these reviews has the screename "vettech". A little suspicious if you ask me. I, however, agree with everyone else that this place is awful. tion for another Banfield. She insisted that there was nothing she could do to help me. I called Banfield corporate and they fixed the issue. They told me that not only was she capable of helping me but that she was supposed to be well trained in helping any Banfield customer from any other Banfield clinic. I brought my puppy in minutes befire closing because the vet I normally take him to was closed. Skiba (my dog) was acting really strange. Lethargic, weak etc. I was a bit of a mess and they got him checked out took his blood to run tests the next morning and were able to clear up a lot of my concerns. I came in almost hysterical and left a lit mire confident that my best friend was going to be ok.
We take all three of our animals to this Banfield and are very happy with all of the staff. They remember all of our pets by name and are very happy to see them. We feel comfortable bringing all 3 animals to the clinic and are happy with how we are treated and how the animals are treated.
It surprises me to see anything less than 5 starts for both the DVMs and the office techs and staff. i have been goign to Marina Pet Hospital for years with my animals and have never received anything other than complete A+ service, kindness, compassion, and professionalism. they know me when i call, they know my kitty, and they get me in immediately whenever i have any health concerns. it can be pricey and people sometimes complain about the inhouse insurance, but it is a lifesaver. people have insurance and so should your ... read more
NEGLECTFUL DOCTORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THEY NEED THEIR LICENSE REVOKED!! Did not care for my shitzu dog with care or compassion what so ever. Dr. Santini just stood there and looked at me and said what do you want me to do for him? whats wrong with him? my dog almost fell off the exam table cause he didnt even care that he was trying to get to me. my dog has herniated discs and had he recommended the correct treatment 6 months ago. my dog would probably not be going in for surgery today because his hind legs are now paralyzed. My husband and I just moved to San Francisco from Washington, DC with our dog Sampson. Sampson needed a bortadella shot in order for us to start taking him to doggie daycare. I founded Marina Pets through a quick google search and gave it a dry. We were very impressed! The receptionists were friendly and helpful and got us an appointment for later that day. BEWARE..... They are not equipped to handle emergencies but quick to hand a VERY large bill. They told us they were not equipped to take care of our dog, They charged us 298.00 for a visit lasting less than 15 minutes and told us we needed to go to the emergency clinic. Very disappointing for a vet office that we have been going to for over 8 years .
