My husband and I just moved to San Francisco from Washington, DC with our dog Sampson. Sampson needed a bortadella shot in order for us to start taking him to doggie daycare. I founded Marina Pets through a quick google search and gave it a dry. We were very impressed! The receptionists were friendly and helpful and got us an appointment for later that day. i have been going to Marina Pet Hospital for years with my animals and have never received anything other than complete A+ service, kindness, compassion, and professionalism. they know me when i call, they know my kitty, and they get me in immediately whenever i have any health concerns. it can be pricey and people sometimes complain about the in house insurance, but it is a lifesaver. people have insurance and so should your furry family members. all the DVMs are incredible and i would not go anywhere else!

I go with Dr. Wolfe simply because she was the first doctor I saw there and I never saw a need to change. So, I am not saying anything negative about the others. I just don't know them.

This place is incredible! The whole staff are friendly, compassionate and efficient. The first time we went there, Brandi was sick and I was emotionally so distraught. They did everything to make me feel better as well as Brandi. Today we went for a vaccine and I had time to look around a bit. It's obvious they all care for everything, including mother earth. Im a BIG pet lover and Marina Pet Hospital has taken care of all my dogs for decades. Debra Melcon has cared for my dogs since she arrived at Marina Pet. She is the best veterinarian in San Francisco. She is thoughtful, very smart and a very creative thinker. All my dogs owe their long lives to her.

Their prices are comparable to vets in the Marina area. I really appreciated their early drop off and late pickup options during the weekdays. They are also open Saturday and Sunday! I recommend the pet insurance if you have an older and/or accident prone dog.

I've been taking my pets to Marina Pet Hospital since 1980 and have always been pleased with the outstanding care and referrals my pets receive. After a recent experience with a stray cat and her kittens, I cannot say enough great things about these folks. The entire staff went way above and beyond with care, advice, and maximizing value. Yes, the front desk staff could use some polishing, but they all love animals and the vets are outstanding. We have been very pleased. Our kitty has some chronic issues and the vet always gives us options for treatment and estimates of potential costs for each option. We've never felt judged for choosing the options we have chosen. Everyone here is friendly and works to provide a comfortable experience for both pet and owner. They have worked us in when our kitty was very ill.
