very friendly staff that is always happy to see my dogs, vet and assistants are very nice explain all procedures and prices with me.
Our cat has had a problem with licking the fur off his back legs. We saw a new vet today. She was very interested in our cat, and suggested an anal gland expression. She, and vet tech Emily, handled our cat with much care during the difficult process. They both showed compassion during and after the procedure. Even though my cat was.....unhappy....during the process, it was obvious they tried to make it as easy on him as possible.
I had heard horror stories from my neighbors but decided to give this place a shot. I was not able to get an appointment so they offered to have me drop him off in the morning and they would call with information. When they called I was informed of a fee for keeping my dog that day of which they said nothing about when I was trying to get an appointment. I felt taken advantage of, and I am very upset. They seem to be only interested in money, and they employ used-car-salesman sales tactics to get as much money as they can out of you, taking advantage of the fact that you are worried about your pet. Stay far away.
We have been very pleased. Our kitty has some chronic issues and the vet always gives us options for treatment and estimates of potential costs for each option. We've never felt judged for choosing the options we have chosen. Everyone here is friendly and works to provide a comfortable experience for both pet and owner. They have worked us in when our kitty was very ill.
Dr. Kim and Dr. Melcom are great veterinarians! They have cared for and treated all three of my wonderful dogs - a black Lab, a greyhound, and a mixed breed "one of a kind" dog. They have seen us through puppyhood to end of life issues. They have done so with great care, kindness, and skill. My dogs feel at home with them and their staff. They have gone the extra mile to help us save money. we have three pets and have them all on the insurance that banfield offers, we love the location, love the two vets we have met, love everything about this office! we have used the groomers as well and were pretty satisfied w them as well! i have told all my friends about this great clinic and i know of one that brings her two dogs there now too!
Marina Pet Hospital has the most friendly staff who are dedicated to what is best for your dog. They not only take good care of your dog during appointments, but also care for them like they are their own when boarding. I highly recommend Dr. Kim.
