Are you serious, Banfield?Your dog passes yet they still require you to pay out your entire wellness plan off..... my dog passed 2 days ago and I was told that I would have to pay out $422 on top of the $300 I paid to have her put down unfortunately. This plan is a terrible scheme. Read the fine print and don't do it.They don't give a c*** It's a money mill, smh. So inconsiderate.

Location: Banfield Pet Hospital ********************************************************************* My fur baby was taken there from the time she was a puppy until it was time for her to cross over. I had opted to have a private cremation and her remains returned to me. After 2 months with no contact back about picking up her remains, I contacted the hospital only to be told that the vet assistant who filled out the form for the cremation service checked the wrong box and instead my fur baby was given a communal cremation ... read more

The wellness plan is a scam. It's unbelievable how Banfield gets away with scamming so many people. For a whole year I have been making monthly payments for a dead cat! And my 3 year old cat died due to their negligence! When I tried to cancel my cat's plan after she died, customer service gave their "apologies" but said the contract is binding despite my cat dying under their care. It's so corrupt and heartless.I will never bring a pet to any Banfield ever again.

My dog has been with Banfield for about 10 years. She is 14 now. She gets her teeth cleaned every year. She hates going there, she cowers and cries and refuses to go in, it is an ordeal to get her into the back, she is scared to death. She has dental issues and has to have her teeth cleaned. My husband does not like Banfield but I like having a wellness plan and I thought the dog just did not like going to the vet. Our furbaby, **********, was under a Banfield Wellness Plan for just over a year, beginning in 2021. He died suddenly in June 2022, and I reached out to Banfield to cancel the policy. Conversations with customer service reps were futile. Compassion was non-existent. The $56+ monthly fees continued for the next eight months and, $400+ later, we are free from the money pit. It was reliving Fitzs death every month. Since then we found the courage to adopt again, researched and found another company that ensures plan cancellatio... read more
