I tried to cancel my room for the Labor Day weekend due to hurricane Dorian hitting that area and was told I would still get charged. The hotel refused to refund money even though there is a hurricane approaching. Horrible customer service!!!
This hotel is a worn out mess. Superficial upgrades give way to real problems. Mold along shower edges, fitness center filled with broken equipment, beds and furnishings worn out. Lipstick on a pig.
Nice place with many amenities. Was a business trip and I enjoyed a half day afterwards on leisure stay.
I had an awesome experience. The resort was very clean, staff was pleasant, great amenities, restaurant, room service, my favorite... Keurig machine in the room:)

The service at this hotel I received was subpar. It is marketed as a 4 to 5 star resort, but operates in the same capacity as a Red Inn or Econo Lodge. The fees tacked on for parking, resort fee, and incidentals were ridiculous. I stayed at this hotel when it first opened. I communicated my thoughts, concerns, and asked not to be solicited for future stays. I still am receiving their email. Honestly, my initial stay caused such a bad impression that I would not stay here or recommend anyone I know to do the same.
At first we were very disappointed that the Spa was closed but the front desk people were so kind and Comped us other things and Maria at the restaurant/bar was awesome. The best Gem was Wally he made sure we had a great time :)
