i went to the ER about 1am one night hurting in my back to the point I was sick and crying. I sit in the lobby for almoat 3 hours before I wver got to rhe back. There was oy 1 other person waiting. Im in the room for almost 2 hkurs before anyone comes in to see me and its the doctor. He asked me if they had me give a urine sample, I told him that he was the 1st person I had ssen since I came back. He told me that he had ordered the urine sample before I was even brought back. RecommendedI just recently started seeing a new rheumatologist in Lexington cause my old one moved from the Fishersvilles office. My first visit was wonderful. She started from scratch and made me feel very comfortable and made sure I didn't have any questions.
So I went in for a CT scan. At check in, the lady told me how much my share of the cost would be. It was eye-watering! But then, she offered to accept 66% of the charge if I paid it within 3 days. Really?? While I will need to make payments, which I gladly do, and have done for years, it doesn’t sound good to know they will knock off 33% for a cash payment. If there is that much room in the first place, then it just costs too much. I’d gladly pay reasonable interest over a year to be able to make payments. But this is ridicu... read more
I have been a patient at Augusta Health's oncology department for almost 4 years. I have been happy with my surgery, chemo, radiation, and all the other support services available. I would recommend that anyone in need of the oncology department to use all the services available. They are deeply dedicated professionals.

Breaking up the "Old Girls Network" of supervisors and their favoritism would go a long way to employee retention and morale. There are too many good people not staying and upper and mid-management need to own the reasons.
