Get directionsmy endoscopy was curtailed by a bleeding issue. Exercising caution They admitted me for observation overnight. The care and attention i got were excellent, all the staff i had contact with were efficient, attentive and personable. I was surprised to receive a follow up call from patient services today, never had that from any hospital. I see several very negative reviews on line, im sorry the authors didnt get treated by my care team. Yes i recommend Augusta and i would rate this experience 5 stars
Instead of spending so much money on mortar and stone you need to spend the big bucks on staff education and humility, customer service training -You have no heart and no concern for the patient, so sad. I look for help and healthCARE when I have to go to Augusta Health but leave feeling like my life just doesn't matter. Disgusting.
well required is this and smoking
I had written a review previously about my experience in the ED. Had gone in due to severe pain and couldn't even walk, was crying consistently. All symptoms were herniated disc and sciatica. The ED doc and the original radiologist said it was nothing and kicked me out the same way I went in. Holding on to walls. I contacted my primary care doctor...she read the scans and asked for 2nd opinion of a radiologist. They both confirmed I do have a moderate herniated disc and significant leg numbness/weakness. I recommend that you... read more
Anthem and Augusta Health finally get over themselves and reach an agreement. Sorry, after six months of having to find alternatives in the area, what is the benefit of going back and starting over? This should have been sorted out before the deadline in January.
I would only go here if it was an absolute must. The service is less than adequate. If you don't have an EXTREME emergency, go somewhere else!
Some of the nurses here are truly helpful and caring. I was with my mother after she had major spinal surgery. During recovery she had a night of nausea. She threw up over and over. Her nurse showed almost no interest. She did not help once. She did give her med for nausea, but when we told her it was not helping, she appeared irritated about trying to find an answer to the problem. When my mother was in distress she would not pay any attention to even see what her need was. She is an RN.
Very disheartened that our son had outpatient surgery today and two major issues occurred. First we were not taken to him in post-op-said they couldn't find us yet we never left the waiting room. Secondly, and most worrisome, when looking through his discharge instructions we had med list for a 70 year old female....HUGE HIPPA violation. Little confidence in a hospital that we already have to pay more for.
Augusta Health has a 3.1 star rating with 685 reviews.
