Your Emergency Department staff is ridiculous and disrespectful. Your desk staff needs training on communication- as a social work student, I know the training exists. The desk staff barks at people who are already going through a hard time and that simply is not effective. It contributes to stress. When we did not like the treatment we recieved in the lobby for simply asking questions, I decided I'd rather drive my feverish, lethargic, and dehydrated daughter 30 minutes to a different hospital than to risk mistreatement by ... read more

I was released Monday from having pancreatitis, for five days. I was on the 2nd floor. I don’t remember many of the nurses names but I remember a Beverly who usually works the ICU unit, and a Brittany. Every last one was nothing short of amazing! Due to not having visitors, they went the extra mile and made me feel safe and not alone. It was not easy being away from my 3 little girls and husband. We also had a death in the family while I was in, and they were all so compassionate. I know during this time it’s emotionally tak... read more

Sitting in er room, been here for 2 hours. I've haven't seen a dr once, only the nurse and the lady who registered me. The nurse came in and done blood work, but that is it. This is the worst hospital around here.

My daughter and I received the absolute best care upon her delivery via Cesarean. Dr. Larsen and Dr. McCuigg did a superb job. Dr. Larsen actually stayed past his regular shift to see me through and fought for my spot in the OR. He went above and beyond for my daughter and made my family and I feel like a priority. I attribute him along with the other staff for such a positive birth experience, through such a traumatic situation. I sadly cannot remember the names of all my RN’s and CNA’s, whom were both male and female; I do... read more

They don’t care. Takes forever in the waiting rooms, it takes forever to see an actual doctor. Been here with my son for 7 hours. The pediatrician sent him here because it was important. Obviously not to AH.

My family member who is in a same sex marriage brought their daughter here and they were treated poorly and unfairly by the staff ESPECIALLY by the security guard who make homophobic remarks about PARENTS seeking care for their daughter. since when did the sexual orientation or make up of a family unit determine if a child's parents could take their child for medical attention without bias? something needs to be done, they deserve an open and public apology that equals the bigotry they experienced.

The lady named Katie who took care of Kaylynn at the hospital was amazing.. Kaylynn has never had an iv before and she was definitely scared and nervous. She walked her through all of it and had patience with her <3 her bed side manner was amazing. I know she had other patients but she made kaylynn feel like she was the only one. Patience and kindness goes along way <3 she was amazing!!!!

Woke up with a fever of 104.9, I’ve lost 6 pounds overnight, and I’m severely dehydrated. Went to the ER this morning. The ER doc wrote a prescription for symptoms that I don’t even have. They did a flu swab (negative, thankfully), but no labs and no IV fluids (which is why I came to the ER instead of Urgent Care)! So now I’m on my way to another ER, where I will hopefully receive proper care and find out what’s wrong.
