I bought a "Certified Pre-Owned" F-150 and within 8 months the engine is toast. I am glad that I purchased an Extended Service Plan. The engine is full of metal shavings and I only got a single oil change in before the problems with this truck began. I am not sure what kind of checks the technicians did to allow this truck to be "Certified Pre-Owned," but obviously it is sub-standard.
