Bait and switch pure and simple. You are told a price but NOTHING is menttoned about reoccurring payments which make the service very very expensive. The MN Attorney General should seriously investiigate this LLc.
I have tried every email that is available to me and all have been returned as undeliverable. I called the company and upon reaching customer service representative was disconnected. We are trying to work with three business days of terminating the contract, but at a loss as to how to do this. The salesman said he would send us an email to acknowledge the termination, but that didn’t happen. This is not so much a review as a complaint. A man saying he was from Aptive came to our door trying to sell us a plan. He would not take no for an answer and would not leave. I had to yell and shut the door on him. Then he came again the next day as a “ follow up.” And once again refused to accept “ no, not interested” and I had to get pretty heavy, threatening him with a formal complaint or calling police before he would leave. Hello, I just had Joe P**** perform the quarterly treatment and he was very good. He was on time, knowledgeable, and very nice to our pet dog. He also treated a house plant which had aphid's and offered suggestions to improve the plant. We are very happy with Aptiva along with all the technicians we have experienced in the last two years. Yesterday I was visited by a Drew ******, who represented “Aptive Environmental,” a company that provides house and yard pesticide services. He said that he had been speaking with a neighbor and implied that they had signed up for his service. I was under the impression the neighbor had recommended us to them. Inasmuch as we were in the throes of changing our pest control provider, we listened to his spiel and as his prices seemed good, we ended up signing a contract for a year.
