Amazing color – If you want great, unique color, you should ask for Whitney Lewis, the Creative Director for Color. Everytime I go to her, I come away with color that is both gorgeous and different-I know that no one else on the street is going to have highlights like mine. always a treat – this is the highlight of my life every 4 weeks. Mike P. is creative, careful, conscientious and completely committed to hair quality and health. The staff assistants are wonderful and make everyone feel, comfortable and relaxed as well as beautiful! The haircuts are easy to maintain and what you ask for....

However, I did not appreciate being pressured into buying the expensive products and getting the conditioning treatment. Before I left I decided to get a bang trim. Worst idea ever. BAD HAIRCUT VERY EXPENSIVE – First I got talked into some 'much needed' treatment that made my hair WAYWAY to soft, even the girl cutting it was all 'it will look better in a couple days.' A COUPLE DAYS? who pays these prices for this kind of work? THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!!!
Not Up to the Hype – After reading rave reviews on citysearch and in new york magazine, I was sure that I would emerge from Antonio Prieto with a fantastic hair cut. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience. Despite my clear instructions of "No layers" I emerged with shaggy, razored ends. It has taken 5+ months for my hair to grow out properly, because some of the layers were cut so short. I will never go back here, as the stylist really had no clue.
Kenji - Talented with great vision!! – This salon was a dream come true! All of the wonderful reviews are true! I had Kenji cut my hair and he is truly an artist. I came in with hair that was long and shaggy in the back and with disconnected bangs. I had so much going on with my haircut; I didn't think anyone could fix it. Best Color and Cut I've Ever Had. – Ok, I am not exaggerating...Mike P. is literally the best colorist I've ever been to.
