Pavel will make you look like a rock star. – There isn't a better haircut to be had in New York. I came in last week on a friend's recommendation, and came out with the best haircut I can remember. Pavel was professional, laid-back and a lot of fun. He also listens - I wanted something conservative enough for work, but with a bit of an edge. He gave me exactly that. I walked out feeling great, and I'll definitely be back.
The best my hair has ever looked!! – Honestly, I couldnt believe how fantastic my hair looked after I had it cut and dried! I have been cursed with the worlds straightest hair that wont do anything, but the stylist i had worked wonders. Rude and Demanding – I called and asked to make an appt for an apprentice haircut, only to be greeted by an ultra-rude receptionist, who acted as if she was doing me a favor. They've CHANGED their policies on making appts for apprentice cuts. Not only do you have to pay in cash, but you have to pay AT the time of the appt, and have to come in before hand for a meet and greet. very friendly staff – I've been coming to this salon for a few years now and always had a great experience. I am a busy girl and would have to call last minute, so i saw almost all of the colorists and haircutters. I was always very satisfied, thanks so much everyone!!
I LOVE MY HAIR!!!!! – I just moved up to the city and was in desperate need for a haircut. A Class Act – This is my first time visiting this salon after many bad experiences around New York City. There is no question that this salon is really a class act... I called in to get a haircut and the front desk staff were really nice and unpretentous, answering all of my many questions and they helped work around my insane work schedule. Pavel is awesome! – I was reccomended to Pavel through a friend, and he is the best. He is not only very professional, but he will give you great style advice and tips. My hair has never looked better! His warm personality makes the whole experience enjoyable, so you will definitely leave with a smile on your face!
Suburban salon / Overrated / Expensive – My haircut was fine--thought the girl tried very hard to sell lots of 'much needed' take home products. (though she did seem to know what she was talking about) Overheard them talking about a contest they were having to sell treatments---I'd be very careful--- For the work I got, I thought it was very expensive and the frumpy housewive cliental didn't appeal to me.
Warning! Price List is Misleading – I found the link to this salon on Citysearch and clicked on the link to the salon's website. The prices were about relative to what I wanted to pay for a haircut (starting at $100), so I called to make an appointment. My visit to salon was a pleasant experience, but I was surprised when the guy announced my total bill. It was 25% more than their listed rate on their own website.
