Pavel gave me the best hair cut I've ever had! – I was referred to Pavel at Antonio Prieto by a friend, and was given the best hair cut I've ever had! Pavel was so sweet, gave me exactly what I was looking for and clearly took the time to pay attention to detail, so my hair looked the best it could. Not only was the cut fantastic, and is very versatile but the way he styled my hair looked fabulous too! I couldn't recommend him more highly and look forward to returning in the future.

Great Haircolor – I have been going to Antonio Prieto since February and have not had a bad haircolor since. Kristen is great at what she does!

Odd requirements for apprentice cuts – I walked in to enquire about getting an apprentice haircut, and the receptionist asked me if I'd been to the salon before. I had been there 6 years ago to see a NON-apprentice {overpriced} stylist. After I told her that, she said former customers are not eligible for the apprentice deal??? Wasn't mentioned in their website or on here. If you've been there previously just lie and say you never been there before, I guess they're so picky you'd probably have to give them a fake name in cas... read more

mmm... Lovin' it!!! – I am new to the city from Michigan. A- I'm gay. B- I'm a teacher, so sort of broke. C- I'm young so keeping a fun edgy look while being somewhat professional (teacher) was crucial. I did the apprentice cut with the AMAZING and TALENTED Brian and well... he is amazing and talented. :) I'm on my way to book another appt for this wednesday with him. I told him I was going to write this review before I came back to see him- and well.. IT'S THAT TIME. :) So excited I was referred to this place and so happy I... read more

Whitney the Colorist- Horrible and Rude...what a rip off for $350 – I went for a full head of highlights with Whitney and also did conditioning treatmentment. After color was washed out, Whitney refused to dry my hair! She just says the color looks good and she walks away to her next client!! Granted, I didn't have an appointment for a dry, but you would think they would semi-dry my hair before walking away coldly?? Total bill was $350....seriously...for that much plus tips for everyone, where is the service with these peopl... read more

Someone isn't paying attention here – I'm still trying to grow out the haircut that I received in May. For the first time in my life, my naturally curly hair wouldn't curl and I actually had little wispy wings where Mariel had cut chunks out of my hair. If you want the real deal, spend the extra money and go to Fredric Fekkai.

best color! – I searched high and low for a colorist I could trust. I finally found a fabulous one--Whitney Lewis. She is careful, creative, and honest. She's made me into a natural-looking red-head. When I wanted to go blonde, she spent 2 hours carefully putting in a head full of foils for intricate and natural-looking highlights. Now we're warming into brown for the fall. I enjoy the results so much that I can't stick with one color! I love coming in with an idea and being able to count on Whitney to tell me whether it wil... read more

Jasellynne and Lawrence are the best! – I've been going to Jasellynne for a few years now for my cuts and highly recommend her--she is personable and efficient and very VERY talented. I only started going to Lawrence for my color this year but am very impressed with his ability to listen and provide me with the exact blend of color I want--no more and no less. I have straight flat hair, never style it myself and am always at the gym or in the sun so it's usually a mess when I walk into the salon. I never have to worry about ... read more

Great results! – Go to Michael and Brian in the apprentice program. Michael transformed my over-processed bleached hair into a healthy, natural look. Brian did an amazing job on my cut. He took into account the look I was going for, as well as what would look good on me. I highly recommend them!! Very talented!
