Angela is the greatest! – I've gotten the most perfect color, and best haircuts of my life from Angela. She's fantastic.
Great cut by Jasellynne – I have been to many salons in NYC and I love Antonio Prieto! My stylist, Jasellyne, really got what I wanted to do with my hair and give me the cut that was better than what I had even imagined. She was wonderful to talk to and made the whole experience fantastic! I highly recommend AP and if you are looking for a stylist - go for Jasellynne - I am now sending all my friends to her!
Love My Cut – While on line at the bank, a young woman in front of me had a great cut. I struck up a conversation, asked where she got it and she handed me a card. The stylist's name was Mariel and I finally got around to making an appointment. I was not disappointed. I loved the salon, the respect and walked out with a great cut. I have actually had the same experience - people have asked me where I got it.
Love John O'Brien's Color! – John O'Brien is an amazing colorist, whom I love and trust completely. He is honest, talented, and genuinely loves what he does, which shows in the excellence of his work. I first saw him for a consultation, inquiring about highlights for my brown hair. He spent almost an hour with me, closely examining my hair in minute detail. Great apprentice program! – If you're on a tight budget, you should definitely try the salon's apprentice program. I just had my hair done by apprentice stylists Matthew and Gil, and it's the best color/cut I've had since moving to NYC (and I've been to top-end salons the likes of Frederic Fekkai.) The Best Gift Ever! – My husband and I just moved here from San Francisco, and for xmas he gave me a gift certificate to Antonio Prieto Salon. The salon had come highly recomended by my old place in San Francisco. It was a wonderful experience. I ended up getting a new haircut and going red!!! It was a totally new look and I love it! Everyone was so helpful, they made me feel right at home, and Giedrius, one of the assistants, makes an awesome cappucino.
instead of chic i got a shag – this is the worst haircut i've ever received in my life! too many layers, too little hair left. when i asked for texture and movement, i didn't mean choppy and stringy i could have gotten a better haircut for $20 and believe me, i have no problem paying a high price for high style i am very disappointed and upset...never listen to the recommendation of a receptionist
AMAZING STYLISTS-HAIRCUTS AND COLOR – Adrien is FANTASTIC with his scissors! He understands what works with a woman's face and gives the most amazing, flattering cuts I have ever had/seen. You know its a fab cut when it looks good even when you dont have time to fix your hair in the morning! Whitney has given me the best hair color (highlights and single process) I have ever had as well. I cannot say enough positive things about the quality of this salon.
Fantastic Cut! – Mariel gives me the best haircuts I've ever had in my life. They look great no matter how much effort (or lack thereof) I put into my hair, and they grow out beautifully. I don't find that anyone pressures me into buying products, and the ones I do buy generally work as promised (or better).
