Robert at Prieto-amazing! – Robert, one of the sylists in the training program where you can get your haircut for $30, gave me the best haircut I've ever had. I don't have to do anything to my hair; it falls perfectly into place. Not only is the price right, but the atmosphere, the personality, service and quality were all exceptional. You will never find a deal this great anywhere else! It's a hidden hot spot anyone on a budget should know about. I've recommended Prieto to all of my friends.
How 2b unhappy when u look in the mirror – Antonio may be a genius, but he's not turning out good people. I tried their stylist in training program. IT SUCKS. The blowout after the cut was NOT reproduceable, and when the assistant stylist asked Antonio to take a look my guy was dismissed with a wave. The colorist was WORSE. I showed her a picture of how I wanted the highlights, she almost got it and then chickened out (they were very bright, light highlights) at the last minute and added lowlights which I HATED and 3 months ... read more

it's worth it – though i spent well over $100 (it's misleading to have AP under the "best of" for salons under $100) it was definitely worth it. i got a GREAT cut from johnny - he was really friendly and totally knew what he was doing. i trusted him right away. i went from long boring hair to shoulder length hair with lots of layers. he also showed me a low-maintenance way to style it everyday. i recommend AP to anyone looking for a dependable salon - and go to johnny! he's great!
