I did a price hold on a bedroom set that cost over $3,000.00 and when i made the last payment nobody advised me one of the items were out of stock until it was time to deliver. When they finally found the item it was clearly used and not new as I paid for. I called for 2 days before I recieved a return phone call to have them pick all of the set up. It will take them another week before they are willing to pick up the bedroom set and another week after that before they are willing to return my money. So, they have my money a... read more

We purchased furniture from the Va Beach store in 2008. We purchased furniture from the online site, which was shipped via the Chesapeake store, in 2015. We were just looking to purchase an entire master bedroom set from them. Both times we purchased the Uniters North America warranty coverage that Value City offers, because it specifically was sold to us by the store employee as coverage for damage from pet and urine bodily fluid accidents. placed a order over a month ago, i paid for delivery it shows up and its the wrong stuff, they reorder it, cant get a straight answer about when it will arrive.so today i ask for refund, she says ok but i cant refund the delivery fee, i tell her this is unacceptable as you guys screwed up the order. she said this is company policy.

I had purchased a leaher sectional fron them. Was very excited with my sectional until it started to peel badly after a couple of years. I had warranty and was like nothing. Their words were "I'm so sorry but we had so many complaints about this product, that we found out it as bonded leather not real leather". I was outraged that couldn't do nothing. Never purchase a warranty with servicer UNITERS that Value City offers. I purchased the warranty with my Value City purchase and it was a complete nightmare!!! Value City needs to stop using them!!!

My wife & I went to store to buy a mattress. Sales person was super helpful, worked with us until we physically found the best mattress for us. Price was great! no surprises. Delivered exactly as promised. Delivery guys were really professional.

This is the worst store to buy furniture they call and then nothing is being delivered. I've been waiting for 60 days and still nothing. They are quick to take your money. Customer service is really really bad.

If I could rate them at 0 I would. We purchased over 2k in bedroom furniture and they show up set everything up I go to inspect it and its damaged every single piece the bed was missing a 6-7 inch piece of wood on it when I told the delivery guys to take it back they only took the chest and left everything else saying the store will contact me. On top of all that they let a chipmunk in my house they saw me trying to chase it out and all they did is say thank you and left. As if all that was not bad enough they forgot to take... read more
