I had bought a sectional from value city furniture a year later the frame broke in half so u could not sit on half the couch! I bought a 5 year warranty on it that they said would cover everything. They had someone come out to look at it and seen it was not able to be fixed. This is one of the worst companies I've dealt with. After an error on their end and after taking my money, they called me and informed me that they made an error and that I wouldn't be receiving my furniture. I inquired as to why I was debited the funds and to the reason for the error and the representative was not able to give an answer. It has now taken close to a week to receive my refunds, which I'm yet to receive. I have attempted to contact the customer representative to no avail. First off if I could give zero stars I would. First time customer and purchase at Value City Furniture. The salesman was great helpful and polite. We told him what we were looking for and he directed us to exactly just that. We didn't haggle or ask for a deal just paid and were on our way. Remodeled our living room to match furniture purchased new paint, new floors. DO NOT SHOP HERE. I purchased a bedroom set that has completely fallen apart. Every single drawer fell apart within 6 months. Te silver handles on the front fell off. I did not purchase the warranty plan, assuming the basic structure of this furniture was sturdy and would be covered in the event of a mishap. WRONG! I called customer service and was told this would not be covered. Like a silly person, I went back to value city and purchased a dining set 1 year later. I bought a sectional from value city in Beavercreek. My puppy did chew on the arm of the chaise lounge, and I paid to replace it, it was my fault. However, I got the replacement unwrapped of plastic and it had a large cut in the side (appeared to be from a forklift or box cutter). A few days later I noticed a spot on the cushion on the other side of the couch, at the seam, that had come unraveled. You could tell by how the string was still curled up. I ordered a bedroom set, sold to me as solid wood. In three days the bed broke on both sides. The bedroom set was not delivered completely. The bed ruined the mattress. I had to go back and get another bed. Still did not come complete when delivered! Their customer service is terrible! The delivery department is very unorganized. I ordered furniture worth around $3,800 on April 6th. i was told all items but one would be delivered on April 25th. The remaining one item i was told was scheduled tentatively for April 25th, but that it was likely to come in on or before that date. I wish I did not have to give them any stars because I wouldn't. This all began on 2/26/2017 when I purchased my furniture. I was promised that all of the furniture I purchased was in stock. My delivery was scheduled for 3/11/2017. The week of they called me and told me the table was not in stock and that it would be available on 4/7/2017. So on 3/11 I received my sofa, loveseat, tables, and lamps. The lamps were damaged. I was contacted and was told it would then come with the table on the 7th of April. I have never, ever received customer service, if you can call it that, as poor as what I've gotten from VCF since dropping $2500.00 in their hands on 04/05/17.
