value city schedule for delivery of furniture on august 3, 2017 and then called back to say that the delivery will not be until august 19, 2017 have been waiting for 2 months for a loveseat. brought the wrong color lounge chair and had to wait one more week for the delivery. The business is terrible call corporate and they said sorry we will give you $50.00 dollars for your trouble. never will shop there again.

I was approved for credit through a program Value City offers and didn't have certain verification. The GM Thomas told me personally everything was okay. Value City took my payment, after I signed lease agreement, set up delivery date and then called me back 2 days later and said that they needed 4 other verifications and they wouldn't deliver my items until they were brought in. We bought a "leather" couch from Value City Furniture in Spring of 2015 at the ******** store in *** *****. We also bought the 5 year warranty, which we understood would cover everything except any breakage in the back of the couch. Just over 1 year later, the color started peeling off the "leather". We called and filed a claim on the warranty and they said they wouldn't cover it. Total bait and switch, from beginning to end. We went in on Friday and picked out a couch set that we liked and talked to Darlene, the sales rep, and she informed us that there was a fourth of July sale going on and the set that we liked was $100 off. We told her that we were going to check a couple other places and then we would come back if that's the set we wanted. I purchased a sofa from Value City. The seat cushion started losing firmness in 3 or 4 months I moved to the other end in a few months same thing. I didn't rush back because I paid for a 5 year extended warranty. When I called the extended warranting company they passed the buck and told me the problem was not covered by warranty go back to the store. Went to Value City they said we're not going to fix it either. Their comment, "well they just don't make them like they used to". A sofa should last years. I'm now stuck with a... read more

1 and a half year ago I bought a corner sofa, we bought a 5 year warranty for $370, they said it would cover everything. A couple months later, the sofa started sinking down we called them many times about it, it took them couple weeks to take them and "fix" them. After 3 weeks they came back looking even worse. then we decided to call them about it again and they said you need to call the warranty because it's been over a year. I just recently had the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE at Value City in ******** **.
