If you want to experience the worst customer service, then Value City is the place to go. I purchased a mattress from them that was supposed to be delivered. When I received a call a few days before delivery with the window of when they would deliver, they had the wrong address. I called and corrected that. On delivery day I left my office at 10:00 to be home during the delivery window of 11-1. At 1:00 no one had arrived or contacted me. Frustrating customer service. called them to schedule a inspection of defective sofa. I was told it's scheduled on 3/25, but didn't got any response on that day. When I made the call the customer service told me no there's no record, then she said she can put me on 4/1(the next saturday). On 3/31(the day before the scheduled visit), I called them to ask about the exact time, but the customer service told me my inspection is scheduled on 4/15, not 4/1. I order some furniture on Dec.20 and was told it would be in on Jan.23 and it wasn't and then told it would be later and then told it would be next month and and went on and on until today March 24 I finally got my stuff and there was only one guy that helped me and did what he said he would do and his name was Cole but for the time I had to wait i should have got some money back I was made to pay up front without my product and had to wait way to long

Never shop here! They have the worst customer service at the corporate office that I have ever experienced. I would never treat a customer the way I have been treated. I have be disconnected twice when I have called to find out where my piece of furniture is. They don't communicate with each other and enter notes from previous conversations. I finally canceled my item hoping that would solve the problem, but as I am typing this I am on hold trying to find out where my refund is. DO NOT SHOP HERE....RUN. Go anywhere but VCF. I had a horrible experience from delivery forward. I have been shopping at VCF for well over 20 years, spent 10s of $1000s, but that stopped on Dec of 2016. I purchased a sectional for Christmas, my family was hosting this past year......and it's 3 months later and I'm still waiting on the remaining pieces of furniture to be delivered. We bought a chest and 2 night stands from this store a year ago, the quality of the furniture is so cheaply made and the workmanship is not even passable. The drawers doesn't open up easily and it is flimsy. I didnt get a furniture insurance because a chest should not be that hard to make and to insure it just sound ridiculous. I cant return it anymore for sure. But if this business keeps selling furniture like this then it is a scam and a fraud because their product is not to make our lives better but it makes us feel upset... read more

Beware of the salesperson slipping in the "Pure Promise Protection" extended warranty without telling you! I went to the VCF store in Ballwin, MO with my mother to purchase several pieces for her new home, and our salesperson, Patty K*****, added $129 for the extended warranty, without our consent. After we left the store, the final amount did not sound correct to me, so I checked the receipt and found that Patty slipped this charge in. I purchased a furniture set with them, they delivery was 2 hours past estimated delivery time. When furniture arrived it was missing pillows. I was told they would bring back the pillows same day, the never returned. Called the next day and was given the run around. Still don't have pillows.
