Doing business with this store is a total scam! After purchsing a living room set and a 5year warranty that they up sell you was not worth it! Just after 12-15 months the love seat began to cracked and peel off. After many attempts to report this issue I was called from the store manager to offer a credit to get the piece replace plus $99 delivery fee! My math doesn't add up to this "fair" trade. Purchased a new leather living room set on 2/14 with delivery scheduled for 2/21. Furniture showed up on time as scheduled. The delivery driver cut the leather on the loveseat while removing packaging . This was rejected and sent back to the store we had to wait a week for a new piece to come in and be delivered. I noticed that there is a nail on the upper rear of the recliner that is pushing on the leather and threatening to puncture the material. Bought a bedroom set, but delivery person only delivered the bed with a defective drawer and no dresser. Was informed by the delivery person it was on back order, no call from the store stating I would not receive a dresser. So back and forth with various people saying they dont know what happened. Value city furniture dropped off a dresser with a BROKEN drawer then they tell me that my matress firm was wrong. So I called matress firm told them the delivered the wrong matress the dropped it off the next day to find out VCF gave us the wrong side rails. Do not shop at Value City! I recently purchased items and the delivery turned into a complete mess. Not all of the furniture arrived as scheduled and the techs did not have the parts to assemble what they did bring. They left everything laying all over the floor and the hallway and left telling me that someone would be in touch. We could not access closets and bedrooms without moving the items ourselves. My complaint/review starts when I bought my furniture. The customer service individual scheduled a delivery, we waited on that day for most of the day. We called to see where the delivery was to be informed there was no delivery set. We had to go pick a couch, loveseat, and coffee table up at the store. The salespeople deliberately up-sell you on a warranty for over $100 that is completely useless. The furniture is poorly made. They know it is going to fall apart. And, they deliberately scam people out of that additional money knowing that they won't have to pay up on it. I am just mad at myself for falling for it.

I tried several times to do business with this company. Every time I came in to make my final payment and set up a delivery date I was told that it was on back order or it was discontinued. This company never really has the furniture that's on their floor. They tell you a bunch of lies and false promises. PLEASE save your money and spend it with a reliable company. I purchased a dinning room set from Value City Furniture on August 12, 2017. I also purchased the insurance plan that suppose to be valid for 5 years.
