Value City Furniture All stores, Bought and paid for a new living room set February 25th 2018 after 9 attempts to deliver furniture that was not damaged they would not return my emails or phone calls so we had to go through we North Carolina DOJ consumer protection ageny to get there attention they called and said they would deliver a whole new set delivery number 10 when the truck got here the delivery guys (independent company and very good) had me come to the truck they said this stuff is worse than what you have and they... read more

ONLY REVIEW YOU WILL NEED TO READ!! Don’t buy anything from there, customer service is terrible. I bought a 3 piece sofa set from there and they pressured me into getting the protection plan or else I won’t get shipping. They said and gave me papers that say it covers all of the furniture from any accidental scratches, rips, stains and even peeling for 5 years. A year later one of the sofa chairs separated at the sewed area (seam separation) which is basically a factory deficit, not even a cut made by me which they should co... read more

As mentioned in a previous review, I wish I could give ZERO stars. I have had the most horrendous experience with Value City Furniture. Specifically the store in Robinson Township, PA. It’s quite comical at this point! Between miscommunication/lack thereof on delivery dates, delivering damaged furniture and losing furniture, it has been a complete nightmare. I understand and recognize that sometimes there are issues with the manufacturer and availability of a certain item that subsequently cause delays. But this is beyond th... read more

I moved from Richmond, VA to Virginia Beach, VA and on May 20, 2018 I went into Value City Furniture. They ran credit and told us we could get $2900 credit. All we needed was two 3 drawer dressers. WE didn't deal with store they have an ACCEPTANCE NOW without the need for credit. We only wanted 90 days same as cash. we paid for delivery and processing and we got a delivery date which was changed 3 times . On June 3 we went to the store and paid off the dressers $642.33 and ordered a queen bed (no mattress) and 2 night tables... read more

We ordered a bed frame/ mattress from Value City for my son. It was delivered with a rip and yellow/ brown stain on the mattress and several chips on the headboard. Why it was delivered to a (ex) customer in this condition, I don't know. We asked the delivery guys to take their shoes because it was raining outside, we were told they don't do that. I purchased my Love Seat and Queen Sofa sleeper just over 5 years ago. I had issues with the furniture from the start including a filthy mattress being delivered and defective cushions,, I contacted Value City over a year ago to let them know about the bars from the sleeper being able to be felt through sitting on the sofa making it very uncomfortable for myself and my guests. We ordered a table in April. Due to high demand our delivery date was pushed out to June. While that was not ideal we purchased anyway. On the day of our delivery, before a single piece was brought in the delivery guy says, I need you to come look at the table it’s dented. So I asked what does that mean? He said well you can completely reject the delivery or you can have it delivered now and they will do a even swap. We will order a new one and trade it out once it arrives. Worst experience ever. Purchased furniture n June 9th 2018 - Promised delivery on 5 different dates Still no furniture. Terrible customer service when I called corporate office in Ohio. Will not shop here ever again!

The VCF in Mechanicsburg, PA really stand behind their products and their customer service is great. I purchased the extended warranty on a couch and after 6 years, needed a replacement. The store made it painless and easy to process an exchange. Their delivery is prompt and really care about the experience and satisfaction of their customers.
