Ordered bedroom suite at the Greenwood, ******* location on April 27, 2021. Was told at the time of order that delivery would be July 15, 2021. Fast forward to today (September 3, 2021), I received my bed on August 4, 2021. Delivery guy said dresser was on the truck but it was damaged so he couldn't deliver it. Said I would get a call after he finished his route around 4:00pm to re-schedule dresser delivery, no call. Went into the Plainfield store August 11, 2021. I have been working with Value City Furniture headquarters since January 2021 on a chair bought in November. It broke late December early January. They have pushed back the date they Will Repair the chair for months until I told them please just give us a new chair and they agreed nine months later we still have not gotten the chair. they'll apologize to me but I don't want apologies I wanted the chair you cannot tell me that they can keep a business going and not be able to deliver a chair to somebody in 9 months I understa... read more

I made a purchase at Value city furniture located in ********* ** on ********* National pike back in February 2021. I was informed that the delivery date was for Sept 09 2021. I called to update delivery address for a dining room and bedroom set I purchased that was over ***** and to see if there was a possible earlier delivery date. The rep claimed that she updates my address and that I could get an earlier delivery so we updated that as well. I verified the items and things were a go. New delivery date was 8/31st. I purchased a sectional in March of 2021 from the ***************, IN location. The original date for delivery was set for June 22, 2021, which I had asked for an extension to have the delivery made on July 22, 2021. At which time I was told that would hold my order and it would be delivered, in full, on July 22, 2021. Three days before my delivery, July 19th, I receive a call from the Castleton, IN location saying that my one piece of my order is now backordered because they had given it away to another customer. The delivery date keeps getting pushed back. I am paying for a couch I have not received. I financed a couch and fireplace together, I received the fireplace, but have not received the couch. It has been postponed 3 times and nearly 90 days. I asked for free shipping to compensate but was denied. I suspect that at some level VCF is aware they are taking money from people for products they are well aware they cannot deliver.
