0 stars . Absolutely the worst place to buy furniture based on my most recent experience. Haven't even had my sofa and loveseat for 6 months and it's beginning to separate and sink. After an inspection I'm told that's how it is. I drove 48 minutes to the store and sat on display and it's not like mine. I am very disturbed that VCF has not resolved the issues with my furniture being damaged. I bought a house full of furniture 2 of the items were damaged, a serviceman came out to take pictures, I never heard anything back. I asked if I could be refunded some of the money or if they would replace the items. No response. I would like to know how many people would spend their hard earned money, only to receive damaged merchandise and no response when calling the store!

I made a purchase with cash payment . I would not recommend. After waiting 2 weeks for my furniture to arrive they no show. I call, and am told that the furniture is running late. I have meetings this afternoon, and need to return to work. I do not have time to greet the truck. To further compound this issue apparently they sent me a footboard instead of the nightstand that I ordered, and have been waiting two weeks for. I went into the VCF on the 31st of August to look/purchase a couch. After spending an extended period of time in the store, I finally found a couch that I liked, I was told that it was guaranteed to be delivered that following Friday (Sept 7). Due to the short timeframe (that I thought) the couch would be delivered, I decided to finalize the transaction with the financing option. I searched for American Signature Furntinure and BBB sent me to the VCF page. Apparently they are the same company with different names (thier web pages look the exact same). I ordered six pieces online ( two desks, two beds with drawers and two night stands) and had them delivered last Sunday. Three of the six items were damaged so I refused them. I went to The Value City Furniture at **** * **** *** ********* ** *****. I was waited on by a professional and patient man named Mr. J*****. He was calm (when I wasn't) kind and understanding. Later the next week I received several calls regarding verification of purchase, address and delivery date and window. Everyone that I spoke with was pleasant and accurate. I have ordered on 7/20 and got to know that my furniture will arrive on 7/25 which was arrived however a few parts were missing and had some cosmetic issues. Since then technicians and delivery guys came 4 times to my home but cosmetic issues are still there also slates supports are still missing from the storage bed so we can use it until it fixed. My husband and I purchased a couch from this business and chose to borrow a vehicle, as it won’t fit in ours, to pick it up instead of paying a delivery fee. We got the item home, opened the box and found that a price along with the hardware, was missing.
