I bought a dinning set , a king mattress and a box spring. That was last month , the sales man who was extremely friendly and professional told me that the delivery of the 4 chairs , the mattress and box spring will be for June 20. We received just the table and the bench before. Today I called to know at what time they will come and they told me that the mattress will be delivered on July 6, and the 4 chairs for August 29. Purchased a dresser two years ago and had insurance. Cheap it keeps peeling *******closed the order out and Linda from value city called and told me I have to buy a new dresser plus new insurance Offered free delivery but be buying new insurance when this dresser is only two years old is insane. ******* and value city are horrible don’t buy from them I also asked for a district manager but funny no one knows how to get I touch with a a district manager

Did not verify the delivery phone number. Canceled our delivery. And could not reschedule until five days later. Would not refund or comp the delivery charge. Did absolutely nothing to make our experience a better one for future purchases.

Four years ago I made a big furniture purchase from VALUE CITY FURNITURE and bought the warranty along with the purchase since I know that peeling of the fabric is a very common problem you face, salesperson clearly told me that peeling is covered under the warranty and I can rest assure that the store will take care of it if any issues during the warranty period. I called the store to make a claim they changed their story and said we only cover peeling on some sofas and that to only up to 40% of the price. I've spoken with ... read more

Customer service *****! I purchased a sofa and chair the sofa had a few issues with the cushions and the info was taken down at time of delivery, i was told cushions would be replaced. I waited 4 months for the cushions and when the time came to deliver what they brought in were the cushion covers. To make matters worse they were the wrong covers. On May 15, 2019, spoke with an associate in ***** ******location in Virginia as I was looking for a specific sofa. I wanted that piece for May 17th but was worried that it will not come on time. I agreed to pick up the merchandise at that location, in fact the invoice specifically stated that it will be shipped to **** ********* **so we could pick it up today. This place is terrible. Whether it’s the continuously pushed back the delivery date of furniture, or only shipping part of what you ordered it almost seems like they’ll go out of their way to ensure you won’t do business with them again. Congratulations VCF mission accomplished, I won’t be going back.

This was the worst customer service I have every bit from any company. They do not deliver all products purchased at same time ,they fail to tell you when something is on back order. This place only cares about the money not the customers. If I could give a negative star it would be a negative 10 I highly suggest not buying from this place. I bought a sleeper couch for almost $900 and when the movers came, they damaged my apartment building. The frame to the outside door, going upstairs they took off the light fixture leaving wires exposed and the light bulb on my neighbors mat, left the backdoor open all night, left my chairs outside and put a hole in my couch and broke the sleeper.
