I bought a sectional from here. O was told my it would be delivered for them to get to me and tell me they couldn't bring it up more then 3 flights of stairs. I called to to see what they could do And they told me that i had to pick it up. I will never go here again. They have the worst customer services.

I ordered furniture three months ago. When the furniture was due to be delivered the headboard was damaged. Value City wanted me to allow them to still deliver all the furniture with the damage headboard with the promise of swapping it out within two weeks. Three months later and countless rescheduling I still don’t have the headboard. The headboard was due to be delivered 2/1/2020 finally between 2-5pm. This is my second time placing an order from Value City Furniture, although I should have known better. Their customer service is an absolute joke. They claim to be "one company" but the actual Customer Service department and each individual store just point fingers at each other for responsibility of any resolution. I paid - in full - an order for a three piece sectional on November 11, 2019. I was told at the time that one of the pieces was backordered, but was still guaranteed delivery on January 7, 2020. STAY AWAY!!!!! My husband and I were in search of a couch for our new home and thought this store had a pretty good variety so we headed to their store in Falls Church, VA. We bought our couch and asked to have our couch delivered on a Friday. By mistake, the store scheduled it for Wednesday instead. When they called us to confirm our delivery, we told them that it was supposed to be Friday, which they gladly changed for us, only to receive a call Thursday to tell us that our delivery on Friday was not taking place. Picked up furniture after a month. Delivery guy was acting. Like the box was indestructible. Went to flip onto truck bed. Though box stated “fragile”. Item was fully damaged once unboxed. Value city refused to pick up even though I had to rent a truck to pick up and the damage was theirs. Judging by how that guy was handling the furniture. 700$ furniture. They charged 150$ for pick up. Had to dispute the charge.

This company is horrible, I received a damaged piece of furniture and have had nothing but issues trying to get this fixed, your customer service is the worst. I was told my furniture would be delivered on December 23, it never showed up I called the service center to only be told it would be delivered Christmas Eve, I had to change all my Christmas plans in order to receive a damaged piece, the delivery men took pictures of said damage and told me to call the service number so I did and then was told they could do nothing u... read more

Purchased a living room just hit the one year mark. Recliner broke had to argue with them to send someone out, replaced chair 4 times and new one makes same cracking noise. Purchased a warranty with furniture and sent in claim because our couch and love seat are unraveling claim denied said it normal wear and tear. Never buy furniture from here as they don’t honor warranty you purchase and furniture falls apart. Have had issues ever since we purchased it. I am deeply disappointed at the entire ordering and delivery process of my most recent order of the dining room set from Value City Furniture. I placed the order, in store, at the Waldorf location. Where I was "assured" on November 10th, that my order would be placed and that I would get it as soon as possible, as early as Saturday, November 16th.
