I purchased a sectional back in April 2017 and January 2018 I had to already place a claim on the furniture it seems that the frame needed to be fixed. Ok, they sent someone to fix it... American Signature does not stand behind their furniture. I bought leather furniture there 2 years ago that lasted a few months. The company rep talked to me like I was a nobody which was ( opposite of how I was treated when they took my money). They are liars and their only concern is making money. I dont know how they get away with hoodwinking so many people.
July 15th, 2020, I ordered a fireplace and insert and a king bedroom set from Value City on Wesel Blvd in Hagerstown, MD. A portion of the bedroom set and fireplace was delivered around the 22nd of July and the remaining pieces were supposed to be delivered 8th August. I finally received the bedroom set today, the delivery guys were professional; however, while putting the bed frame together several boards cracked. I took photos just in case I have problems with the frame later.
Ordered Sofa/Love seat set in April. Sofa delivered within 3 weeks, Love seat has still not been delivered, after 3rd delay now delayed until 9/25/20. Won't allow return on the matching Sofa, now stuck with one Sofa that I cannot match. No one knows when anything will be delivered, just keep delaying it 2-3 days before the next scheduled delivery date. Will never purchase from VCF again.
This business customer service is horrible in particularly a Mary. They need new management. I ordered a rug and they gave me the wrong rug told me they would send me the right rug two weeks later said they had no recollection. I called the manager was rude as they always are and basically said I could cancel my entire order. Mind you they did not unbox my mirror nor did they put my fireplace completely together upon arrival and my lamp they continue to reschedule delivery dates. Do not ever buy anything from this store (Kennesaw, GA location). We ordered a new dining room set a month ago and it was delivered chipped up and with one leg of a chair about a half inch too short. I called and asked for a refund. They told me if they took the furniture back they would charge a 5% restock fee (even though they sent me damaged furniture). Then they tried to offer me 30% off. I Purchase a bedroom set on 6/13/2020. I was told that my My order would be delivery on July 17, 2020 because the bed was on back order. I agreed to and purchased the bedroom set expecting everything to be delivery on the same day. I received a delivery confirmation email on 7/15 at 9:37 am stating that all my purchased items would be delivered on 7/16 between 8:15-11:15 am I accepted the delivery schedule. This company is awful to deal with. I waited on hold 40 minutes to an hour each time I called. I had to call 4 different times since no one would get back to me to verify a delivery would not be made prior to mid August since my son would not be in the house before then. The last straw was when I received a bill for furniture that I won’t be receiving for 6 weeks. I talked to a supervisor to cancel and was once again told they would get back to me.
They suck I bought a leather sofa years ago with a warranty and the leather started peeling they did not honor it asking stupid questions like where did it start peeling oh we don't cover the part where you sit just the back who sits on the back of a sofa!
