paid cash for my furniture and delivery was set up and no show. Driver called had wrong address got rude and hung up and said could not deliver. Called store and manager said he would make it right. Well again they sent to wrong address. Called store and lady hung up on me and then wife called back. They sent them again to wrong address and lady hung up on my wife. The worst furniture store( Value City Furniture- Aurora Illinois) PERIOD. I purchased a leather push back recliner for a Christmas present in November went to pick up all was good got it home and wrapped for Christmas .The person that the chair was purchased for opened Dec 22 it was broke whole right side was not attached .So i call Value City Furniture and there policy is to have a repair man come out and look so i say fine the person was to come out Dec 23 i get a call that night stating they would not make that day and ma... read more

Horrible Service. Purchased sofa, loveseat, chair and ottoman in Nov. 2020. We were told all furniture would be delivered by Christmas. Only the chair showed up in early December, finally got the manager to "find" a sofa and received before Christmas. Loveseat and ottoman scheduled for 01/06/21 and today (01/05/21) VCF calls to tell us our furniture is delayed until March 10, 2021. When we asked why, the answer was COVID. I humbly write this letter in disappointment of my purchase of living room furniture from Value City. I would like to give an overview of my experience with the purchase. We were very excited to move into our new place in May of 2020. The move took place during the pandemic. Gave 1 star because you cant give 0. Value city has absolutely no care or regard for their customers and the store employees are basically useless as they claim corporate are the only people who can accommodate upset customers who order online; when trying to contact corporate, I was left on hold for 2.5 hours. When I called the store and told them they snapped at me and said something along the lines of "well the wait time is over an hour, and theres nothing we can do for you and not our fault because you ordered online." We purchased a bedroom set on 8/29. Still waiting on it and just notified about a delay today until MARCH 11! That will be almost 7 months! And to make things worse, the Madison TN store called to confirm everything, and then we were notified of the delay...AFTER confirming!

My sales associate was friendly, courteous and went out her way to help me find what I needed. I have received part 1 of a 2 part delivery and I actually received it ahead of schedule. Very happy with my experience!

Value City, Waldorf MD I purchased 2 bedroom sets while on sale from Tim or Tom, not even sure anymore. I admit it was great deal however, the delivery date kept changing. The straw that broke the camels back was when I called to verify if they were still on schedule. Well, just guessed it the date changed to weeks later. They stated that my salesman should have contacted me because he knew a week ago that it wouldn't be delivered. At that point, I was done. I canceled the order and never looked back. I ordered bedroom furniture on 2 separate orders in the past month. On both occasions I got a call a week before it was supposed to be delivered that it would be delayed by a month. I understand that this is a common situation at this time. However, when I changed my mind and decided to order from another company instead of waiting, I was unable to reach the company to cancel my orders.
