I can't begin to tell you how frustrated I am with Value City Furniture. I have purchased several pieces of furniture in the past with no issues. However, I purchased and paid in full for a dining table and 6 chairs in June 2020. I was told to expect them in early September. At the end of August 2020, I received a phone call stating that my order was pushed back to December 2020. If you're looking to buy furniture from this store. DON'T. It is cheaply made. Bought a couch with 2 recliners at the end. In under a year [purchased end of February 2019] the one side started doing a grinding noise and was starting to go crooked. I put in the issue in march 2020. Unfortunately due to covid, things were closing and delays etc. I finally felt better to let a maintenance worker in July 2020 access what was going on. I have never seen a "business" that tauts itself as a "4th generation family owned and operated" business conduct business as Value City Furniture has. I understand that the pandemic has caused many delays, but after ordering online, it took many, many attempts to reach a live person in Customer Service (if you can call it that!!) There was no "chat" as in the past, and after being redirected from about five different menus, you were put on hold (usually as "caller #25 for over ten minutes without moving up in the calling qu... read more

Worst customer service ever!! We ordered couches and new bedroom furniture, paid in full in September and was told they were delayed due to covid until December 14th. A week before this delivery date, we were informed that only the couches were coming. The rest was delayed until January 20th. Couches were delivered with no covers and it was snowing so they came in all wet. A week ago they called me to tell me that our bed frame and one of our dressers were delayed until March sometime. I've been a loyal customer for years. I ordered a footboard, headboard, box spring and matresss. The delivery date was scheduled for 26 Dec 2021. When the delivery truck came, they had the wrong parts for the bed. I had to call the manager, and she came out to bring the right parts and put everything together. During the delivery there was a scratch on the footboard. The mattress was not the same as the display. I’m writing this review for future customers to beware of the low cost of value city furniture, me and my wife brought a so called leather sectional 3 years ago and me and my wife assumed it was real leather because that’s what we were looking for and the sales person told us it’s leather and even sold us some 20 dollar conditioner cream to keep the leather soft, I used the conditioner cream for the leather over the years and around 3 years the so called leather started pilling and falling off the couch, it’s 3 years and the... read more

They have the most disrespectful staff ever I will never use this credit card again. I purchased some furniture for guest bedroom and everything came damaged and they knew same day and waited around now they saying it is to late not even 10 days. Amesha knew same day store manager. Absolutely horrible dealing with this company. Their communication from the moment my purchase was completed was absolute shit. My tracking number didn't work on my email, couldn't get anyone from the corporate side to answer my emails and when I called up to the store I was informed that only HALF my order was to arrive on the scheduled date. I left word to speak with a manager and had to call back MYSELF 3 days later!! The manager was not helpful and did not offer any form of reparations, but more excuses. By this point, I... read more
